When I called the guy that was my landlord the number no longer accepted calls and that was my beginning in Arizona. Why is this important? Well, I had to find another place with no money and truck full of furniture. And I couldn't make it to my new job but I did call. I was let go. Fast forward to 2024 and I had a fair job and struggling in casa grande. I was losing again and I ended up pawning my laptop and my title to Casino Pawn and Gold in Casa Grande. The staff were professional, very courteous and I went ahead with the deal.in August of 24 my time was up to lose it all but they were so understanding and gave me some more time. Then I had to go back to Vegas because my mother passed away. I totally forgot about the stuff. They contacted me and instead of the cold responses I had expected and experienced in the past with many other places like theirs. They were understanding again and never put pressure on me or my family. They respected my issues and didn't keep raising the interest. They worked with me and gave me my dignity back. Not once had they ever treated me like a dead beat. Now in October and still worked with me until everything was paid and as I was walking away they said if I ever needed help again to feel free to come back. Review of My Experience at Casino Pawn and Gold.

I recently visited to pick up my device, and I feel compelled to share my experience. According to the Attorney General's office, it is entirely legal for someone to retrieve their pawned belongings as long as they present the original pawn ticket. Unfortunately, my interaction at this shop was anything but pleasant.

As soon as I walked in, I was met by a manager who seemed to be having a particularly bad day. Instead of a friendly greeting or even basic customer service, I was confronted with rudeness that was quite off-putting. I explained that I was there to pick up my device and presented my ticket, expecting a straightforward retrieval process. However, the manager was dismissive and unhelpful, which added unnecessary stress to an already simple transaction.

Despite my calm demeanor and clear understanding of my rights in this situation, the manager continued to be condescending and unprofessional. I felt ignored and belittled, which is not how any customer should be treated. The lack of respect and courtesy was surprising, particularly in an industry that relies heavily on repeat business and customer satisfaction.

It's disheartening to see a business operate in this manner, especially when there are clearer and more customer-friendly options out there. I left the shop feeling frustrated and disheartened. It’s crucial for management to understand that their attitude and behavior significantly impact customer experiences.

On a positive note, the shop itself was organized, and the selection of items appeared to be decent. However, the service I received overshadowed any good impression I might have had.

In conclusion, I hope that the management at Casino Pawn and Gold considers customer service training for their staff. No one should feel unwelcome or unvalued when seeking to reclaim their possessions. I would recommend looking for other pawn shops where customer service is prioritized and where I’d feel more respected...

The guy, Derik (the owner) is a jerk! I came in there, today, and was greeted just fine. He was the only one there, so I patiently waited 10-15 minutes while he was doing business a woman getting a loan (big bucks in his pocket) AND talked to a couple other "someones" on the phone. While he waited on the woman, he asked what I was looking for and I told him a laptop. He asked how much I wanted to spend to which I replied around $200 or less. After I continued waiting while he completed his transaction with the women, one other man entered the store and was there for less than half a minute while the woman was heading for the door. Derik and I talked while he STARTED towards the counter with the laptops and I reiterated I wanted to see what he had in my price range so that I could think about it. His reply was "I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THAT." With that attitude, I truly do not understand how he is still in business! Money is all that matters to this guy. I get business - I run one, myself - but I treat people far better than this guy - like they are human. I'm sure that he will come up with some explanation for his reason for treating me like dog dung, but the bottom line is, he wasn't going to make as much MONEY from my cheap LAPTOP computer sale as the (even not certain) gun sale... Went to another pawn shop around the corner where the staff there was more likable and not fake...
