03/10/2025 I shop at this Ross often, but on this day I ran into a couple of issues. First, I was looking at a couple of items & needed help finding the price evelia was walking by when she asked if I needed help, I said yes she rolled her eyes & came over to the furniture station & said what is is? I told her I was just looking for the tag, she then said look on the bottom you’ll find it & walked away. When I went to pay the total I noticed afterwards the total was different then I estimated so I looked at the receipt to find out I had been charged 2x for 1 item. I went back in store & let the cashier that at the customer service desk, he said he would call the manager & it was evelia she came out with an awful attitude, she started off by saying yes what do you need? I explained what happened & she replied with she has to check the cameras I say ok. After 10 minutes I aak the same cashier to see if she’s almost done & he says yes, when she finally comes out she says sorry the cameras aren’t working call customer service. I replied that was unfair & she said I’m refusing service. I thought it was ridiculous so I went back to my car & returned everything, she did the return REFUSED to give me the receipt & shorted me 10$ I had to call customer service & wait a whole MONTH to get was she shorted me. DO BETTER EVELIA the way you acted was very EMBARRASSING especially for your AGE. I hope ROSS...
Read moreIf I could give it no stars I would. I use to frequent this ross, until today. I went in this store with my 3 year old in the basket and my best friend was with me. We were looking for art to put up in my daughter new room, and instead we were followed by sales associates, a white lady that worked by the pictures continued to stare and call over the radio. Soon enough the red headed manager (I think) comes around the corner and begins looking at the pictures as if SHE WAS SHOPPING!!! Instead when we moved as did another sales associate. This became so uncomfortable that my daughter asked "mommy why are they following us?" There was no reason for this, and with no reason it begs the question, is it my friend big curly hair, or was our black skin that intimidated you. Please do not say rascim isn't still alive, because I encounter racial comments everyday. To top it off the cashier was as rude if not worse than the other sales associate. I am pretty sure that is called racial profiling. Not to mention WE HEARD ALL OF YOU TALKING! So next to whisper or don't be rude! Everyone's experience is different, and this was my first time being disrespected in such a manner that I will be calling corporate. Having a bachelors degree in business administration has allowed my to utilize all resources, and I will begin with that one. Have a good day...
Read moreEmployees very cheerful , knowledgeable about products and the product locations. Found all I needed. The dressing room attendant was very competent and helpful. All this comes from the top down so I commend the management team also.
My only 'constructive suggestion' would be on the over-eager greeting of the incoming patrons: The check out counters were all running completely busy, the clerks were working very hard as each one of had our own special issues and needs . But the checkers seem to be under heavy orders to call out a welcome each time the door opened. The "greetings" were disconcerting and crossed over each other as the clerks were trying to get everyone inline checked out, but keep an eye on the door and sing out a hearty welcome.
Maybe the clerk working nearest the door at any given time be charged with the greeting. Even a clerk just walking by or in the area. When there's a cocaphony of welcomes coming at an entering person and from hard-to-know who or where from it seems almost artificial. I wondered if the employees were on a commission-based "welcome" program. 😊
But the employees did their jobs well and made my experience one I want to repeat...
