Very hard to believe last nights visit was strange & awful. Strange, because this is the 1st time we had a horrible visit. I have no clue what was going on. Possibly due to the football games & all the people that kept coming in. The waiter was nice but idk if he took what my brother was saying to personally about taking too long with the drinks. I personally donât jump to conclusions because Iâve been in that position, and I donât over analyze something thatâs out of my control. Iâm absolutely sorry about that but people act differently when theyâre intoxicated. A waitress accidentally brought us mozzarella sticks. And my husband flagged her to tell her that theyâre not ours. And I caught her reaction like she was annoyed that we flagged her. She said âoh I know it was the wrong tableâ then why did you bring it to us?. We just didnât want to take someone else food. Because itâs the right thing to do. We never got our food after waiting an hour and that just crossed the line for me especially since I saw the waiter checking the booth across from us. And getting their dishes out of the way. I donât know what we did to not get our food, or even have our table checked to make sure if everything is okay. Very not like them. They couldâve told us personally what was wrong. We just got fed up & wanted to pay the drinks and go. I was so flustered that I didnât even realize they charged us $35.50. For idk what the drinks? I didnât think it was that much for a beer with a liquor shot, cocktail & a soft drink. I just tipped the waiter because maybe he was having a bad day, it was his 1st day, or had a personal grudge with us or whatever. But donât take it personally or out on us because we wanted to leave. Why stay longer when we ordered food that never got to our table. Weâre not waiting another hour especially if we never got updates or even a how are you doing. Idk this had to be something personal against us or my older brother. Me & my husband were nothing but patient we didnât even have an inch of attitude, Iâm sure youâve dealt with way worse people but Iâm pretty sure they got their food. Of course the manager didnât even bother talking with us or asked if everything was okay. You can tell he didnât care yet thatâs their job. Kinda has you wondering why things are they way theyâre are over there. We went to Olive Garden and got top notch service. And the manager visited with us and asked if everything is okay.    Read moreWe went in about an hour and a half before they closed one night. I was thinking that was plenty of time to order a couple of beers and maybe a bite to eat. BIG MISTAKE! I try not to blame the server, who told us she was "new to serving", but perhaps the manager. For starters, there seemed to be confusion on what we ordered, what I thought were simple questions about the menu couldn't be answered, and she kept forgetting to bring out the waters we asked for 3 times. We had to grab another server walking by to order another round of beers (only 3 out of 4 of us were drinking). After half an hour of waiting for our food a different server walked by and asked if we were doing okay, to which I responded with frustration "I think we'd be doing better if we had our food". And magically our food came through the doors. It arrived cold and completely wrong. Our original server looked frustrated, confused and stressed. I told her not to sweat it. Manager came over to correct the problem, so I thought. She took ALL the food off the table to "remake it". Food came back out, this time with only 1 mistake. Our server came back over to apologize and she said "The manager is going to take care of your food". Apparently, that didn't mean what I thought it did. Our bill came out for the full amount. When I asked why we were paying for the food the manager came over and said she couldn't "give" us the food. She offered food credit for the next visit. I responded with "That's not going to do me any good because I won't be back, but thank you". She ended up taking 20 percent off the total bill and rather than giving us the food credit and a line, she asked us if we were sure we didn't want the food credit. Why ask? Why not say "I'm really sorry, I took something off this bill and still gave you credit on the next visit so you can give us another try"? For the record, I'm NEVER rude to people that handle my food and it takes a lot to get me to the point of frustration. I showed up to pick up my order, having already paid and gave a tip because I believed that it would be an all around good experience. I was wrong. First, I walked through the door to 4 employees ignoring me, until the story that was being told was completed. Then, I was greeted coldly, and I told them I had carryout. The male behind the counter pointed and said "Over there" and proceeded to go back to socializing and ignoring the people who provide his paycheck. I had to walk through the doorway, and off to the side where there was a rack with a single bag on it. Having been used to being greeted at the door while ordering carryout from literally any other restaurant, I asked if this was it, and barely received a nod in response. No one checked my order to make sure it was correct, which it wasn't. No one asked if something was missing, which it was. And no one asked if I needed anything, (forks, spoons, seasoning, anything) which I did. No one even took the time to act like they were the FIRST face that customers see when they walk in to your establishment.
I would like my tip returned, because it was absolutely not deserved. I would like the rest of my money returned, because several things were forgotten, and there was zero attention to detail or even common sense. To top it off, the food was beyond atrocious. It had the consistency of warm butter and hard Laffy Taffy, all in the SAME piece of food. It was cold, there was no silverware and there was no seasoning. The two SEPARATE flavors were squished together, rendering the meal inedible. The ones that were supposed to be low/mild heat were smeared together with the hot sauce, creating a mixture that wasn't satisfying to a single person consuming the meal.
