Bought a protein animal style 3x3 with whole grill onion and peppers. The first one came they had shredded picese of lettuces on both sides for the bun. For people that don't know what protein style is. It when you get lettuces instead of buns. Everywhere I have ate it this way for last 20 yr in San Diego, Las Angels Las Vegas has always used a whole leaf and wrapped the 3x3 here they say it suppose to be cut square. I didn't know that so I went back in on second hamburger toldthe guy who pretend to be manger I would eat it but I picked up my lettuces and showed him how there alot but it cut and would fall out he said that how it done and then proceeded to pick my lettuces up off my sandwich saying we cut it square and maybe I got it that way some other restaurant. Then when got back to table realized it was only a 2x2 not a 3 way. The real manger came out to clean tables and ask us about it says he from California and they don't do it that way. Maybe just the restaurant I went don't have time to cut it or maybe they figured the trick out so it not messy. Either way when I tried to tell him about the guy picking up my sandwich and that it was only a 2 x2 he just kept cutting me off saying he would talk to them if you want real in out pick careful in AZ some will swear there no Scobby snak no protein style don't know what whole grill onion are. Which this one didn't have whole...
Read moreWe are on a road trip and were told to try In-N-Out. We were told to order a certain burger and fries "Animal Style". Nothing on the menu mentioned Animal Style. The gal who took our order was very nice and took the time to explain the order. She later was sweeping in our area and remembered us. She asked how we liked everything and we told her we loved the pickles. She immediately asked if we'd like some pickles. She brought us a little container of sliced pickles. Her name was Karen and she absolutely made our first experience the best ever. As burgers go, it was probably the best fast food burger I've had. The meat was good quality and the vegees fresh and crisp. The animal style fries had real cheese and thousand island type sauce on them. We prefer fries plain and salted, but we were told to give them a try. Good, but not our preference. I was impressed with the staff because the place was flooded with customers. Cars were backed up for the drive-thru and people were lined up inside. Everyone working inside seemed happy and engaged. They were so effecient that we seemed to get served with hardly a wait. The place was spotless. Kudos again to Karen. She is a real gem for...
Read moreAmazing. Classic taste. What a burger should be. Nothing compares. It is of its own. Its a burger of all burgers We could be blind folded in a taste test and know its In N Out. I see a In N Out sign i start to seriously considering pulling over. The aroma from the restaurant is even pretty distinctive and smells good. Its a burger we all fantasize about. Some weird people disagree because they want to seem cool and rebellious, like an outsider that has unique taste pallet, but burger lovers can see they are clearly lying. Deep down those people secretly agree that In N Out is the perfect adult food but they will never admit it. Its okay though their secret is safe. In N Out is delicious and will hit the spot in pretty much any situation really. It is satisfying cruising around with a box of burgers and fries in your passanger seat that mysteriously has the power to make you a better driver being safe taking turns gently and breaking so soft because you wouldn't want your prized box of burgers and fries to spill all over your vehicle. That would be a tragedy the news wouldn't even want to cover because its too dark and depressing. But anyways its a decent burger...
