Hi there! I have shopped in many grocery stores in the last 7 years or so, here in the Wilmington district as an Instacart shopper. Needless to say, I have shopped almost 10,0000 grocery orders in all the stores in this area. I was in Aldi a few days ago, and their was this,"Karen", of a customer arguing with the staff over the price of her cherries! Really lady? I am over here trying to simply make a living, and here you are having an emotional "MELTDOWN" over a bag of cherries!! The staff at this location has never been anything but kind, informative, helpful, and actually cheerful at times in the constant hustle of our daily grind. This woman was clearly upset and angry about something that had perhaps just occurred in her small world, and clearly had nothing to do with these store employees. Listen here, "Miss Hateful Karen". My advice to you my dear, is go the church girl, because if you have the time to throw such a ridiculous tantrum over such a trivial issue, you truely need some Jesus to hide your crazy. That is all.    Read morehave been there 3 times. the first 2 were o'k/ On my 3rd visit the cashier was so rude, and I asked her if I could have the cart she had by the register to carry my purchases to the car, she said - no with a smirk on her face like saying "of course not" (and that was after she was rude to me about something else). First, she could've paged somebody to help me carry the stuff that I purchased from them that I could've purchased somewhere else at the same price or she could've given me the cart and then page somebody to bring her another one. And if she can't do any of the above and absolutely has to deny a customer a cart at least she could've been nice about it like "I'm so sorry but..." Enjoy the free advice on how to improve your customer service, but I won't be back, not...
Read moreAldi is one of my go-to grocery stores. I shop here often with my kids, and I love the variety they offer—great prices on produce, fun cheeses, lots of snacks and drinks, and some of the best sparkling water deals around.
The store is clean, well-organized, and the staff is fast and efficient at checkout. That said, I’ve noticed they usually only run one register at a time—even when the store is busy. A second lane would make a big difference.
Bathrooms are clean, carts are $0.25 to grab. the shelves are usually well-stocked. Overall, it’s a convenient, affordable spot I come back to again and again.
