My husband, 2year old nephew and I came into bww porters neck for lunch today. At first we were treated very respectfully. The hostess was very polite and even cleaned a booth for us bc we needed a high chair. Our waitress makes her way to our table. Asks what we want for drinks. Hubs gets a beer, water with lemon for me and half water half lemonade for the baby. We get the beer within a minute. After about 10mins minutes the waitress comes to table with a cocktail from the bar. (Lemonade something) I looked at her with confusion and said "honey that was supposed to be for the baby." She instantly catches an attitude with me and says "I thought it was for you." I honestly don't know how you get cocktail out of half water half lemonade but whatever honest mistake I guess. However she was very rude about it, like it was my fault she got it wrong. She comes back with his drink and goes to walk away. I tell her we are ready to order. Very simple order... 2 orders of boneless wings and a kids chicken tender with fries. When food is ready they bring out the wings but no kids meal. I think okay maybe she just couldn't carry it all? Our waitress goes to the kitchen. After about 8/10 mins goes by she comes back says " they messed it up, we put a rush on it" and goes to walk away again. Never apologized, never offered to bring the baby some fries or something to munch on while he waits. Of course I get frustrated and a little pissed off with the situation. And I may have gotten a little rude ( I didn't mean to, but I did) so as she walks by our table, I ask for some oranges so he has something. She completely ignored me, rolled her eyes and helped 2 other tables. She did bring them out eventually but that's beside the point. Another 15/20 mins, babys food finally comes out. From that point forward she never came back to our table to ask us for refills or to see if we needed anything. I looked at her a few times trying to get her attention and all I got was more dirty looks and eye rolling. She finally comes over to table lays check down, doesn't say a word and WALKS AWAY AGAIN! I'm sorry but that was absolutely ridiculous. What if we wanted something else? I don't normally leave bad reviews however that was the worst experience I have ever had at a bww. That young lady was very unpleasant and she should not be a waitress. I was a waitress for a long time. You really need to have great customer service if you're going to do that kind...
   Read more5 STARS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE They got my order wrong, and because I did not check it before leaving, I was greeted with an order that was incorrect! It happens. People make mistakes and hence an order of food can be delivered incorrectly. It's how you handle this type of situation that differentiates the average from the exceptional!
So I called up the store and was connected to the person who helped me. I informed her that the order was wrong. After a brief hold, the manager was on the phone with me and asked me about my order and what items I received. I let her know what the issue was, and as opposed to making up excuses or cutting me off mid sentence - she LISTENED TO ME! Then she apologized, ASKED ME how I would like her to remedy it! I let her know, that it was the correct order I placed and that I would grudgingly have to go back to pick it up. Again, another apology and she thanked me for my willingness to come back so they could make it right.
When I arrived back up to the store, the manager greeted me at the front desk, walked me over to my order, reviewed it with me and then apologized again! She asked if I wanted anything else (on the house) for my troubles and I declined but thanked her for her courteousness.
It's easy to give 1 star for a wrong order and never make the call to discuss with the manager of an operation. However, this place gets 5 stars for being great at customer service and listening to a customer explain the issue and offer up a remedy. Be Nice and others will be nice to you! GOOD JOB B...

I got up to speak to a manager who seemed to be way to busy talking to someone to see that customers were being neglected. When I told her that we had been sitting there for over 15 minutes and nobody had come over she replied oh Iâll tell him and went right back to her conversation. Finally the waiter came over on his own because she was still talking. we told him that we had decided to leave because it had taken way too long to for someone to come over to us. The manager didnât even turn around when I said very loudly that we were leaving. If I was the owner of this place that was very slow at the time I would be very angry that Iâm losing customers because I have employees that just donât care about my customers and my business. Wake up youâre losing business and are going to close that location if you donât change the attitude of the people that work for you. What that manager doesnât understand is that without customers youâre out of a job stupid! You should treat every customer like they are the only people in the place. Make them happy and give them a reason to want to come back otherwise youâll be out of a job along with everybody else that works there!!! Hopefully the attitude of the employees will get better before they close but they wonât see me back because I work hard for my money and will not go spend it in an establishment that has no time to take care of me and...
