My husband and I tried Si Senor in Porters Neck. This was our first time. We absolutely loved it! The atmosphere, the food and attentive service was more than we anticipated. My garden salad with raspberry vinaigrette was amazing and beautifully presented. This was not your normally boring house salad as you will see in the photo. You can add protein also. Hubby ordered the chicken and beef burritos. Can’t remember the name of it. We will definitely be back Thank you Chris and the kitchen staff and manager for a great and relaxing date day! We have not had one in awhile. So glad we picked you. See you soon!
Another great meal with this place! They are so nice there and so quick yet the meal presentation and flavors are spot on! Huge portions! I had the Pollo Gallego as they recommended and Chris had Enchiladas Si Senor. Go here! You won’t regret it! Just excellent in every way! Our last visit Sunday at around 2:30 June 26th. Thank you for the kind gentleman and Manager that helped us.And the outstanding kitchen staff. You all are amazing!
I went again the other day and had again the best service! Thank you Andreas, JJ and Juan. The salad is so amazing but may try something different today. I will ask as they are always great to offer suggestions. You guys are rock stars!
Absolutely love this place and the service. Andrés and staff always are amazing! Tonight we had the Ground Beef Burrito, Mexican street corn and side of black beans. You all are amazing!
Thank you Andres for your amazing service again today. Your smile speaks a thousand words. Don’t go to Baja. You won’t get the same friendliness and fast efficient service with amazing food. Just saying.
Thank you Andres and staff again!! I asked him to order for us. He suggested the Ancho Beef Short Rib with onions mixed peppers and sweet Plantains. It was awesome as everything is here. My husband loved it too! Spot on as always!
We went again today Oct. 13th. Andres took our order and sweet as always. Juan was our chef. We had the Ground Beef Burrito and it was huge! So good! Ordered the Classico Ceviche. It was great but could use some avocado and flour tortillas which I added. But to top it off had the Fried Avocado Frita. So awesome! Love the selections here and amazing service!
Thank you Chris and staff for excellent service once again! We tried Pollo Gallego with Queso. 4 meals for one serving. We loved it!
We had yet another great meal here (May 2023). Our server was JJ and he is amazing as all the people that work here. All smiles and attentive service. Food is the best in the area! Hurricane, the owner is very kind as well! Posted some more images. Go see for yourself how awesome the...
Read moreSometimes you wander in to a place based on google rating alone. Sometimes it's great, sometimes no so much. Sometimes you find a gem that you want to share with all your friends. This is Si Senor.
The staff here is amazingly friendly and super attentive. I had the best waiter of any eatery I've ever been to. The food was exceptionally tasty and the presentation was on point.
Unfortunately I met El Chubby. No El Chubby is not the owner. El Chubby is someone's bad idea of a joke. It's the burrito challenge. Eat this $30 big ol burrito and get it for free and a t shirt. Sweet, I'll try it, the picture doesn't look THAT bad.
Before I met El Chubby I would have guess it would have been like a slightly overweight older brother to a normal burrito. No. It's more like that slightly overweight older brother burrito was genetically modified with the DNA from Hagrid of Harry Potter. El Chubby should be named something more fitting, like El Mastadon or El Titan.
The waiter, in addition to being super nice must work out constantly, because he somehow managed to bring this gigantic obscenity out with one arm. He must have arm wrestling trophies at home, lots of them.
They gave me 25 minutes to consume the beast that laid before me. 25 minutes. Yea. A pack of starving wolves would have needed longer to tera this thing apart, yet I tried. I dug in hard, figuring I needed to eat an inch a minute to beat the clock. I woofed down as much as my stomach could take and made it half way before 10 minutes had passed. This is where my stomach pretty much went on strike. I watched alot of Man vs. Food back in the day and pulled out the tricks he used, I flipped the plate around and started to eat from the other side... 4 more bites. My stomach was more insistent this time and warned me that if I kept this up people were going to get hurt. By this time my small and large intestines were on the picket line as well. I felt much like John Candy eating the old 96'er in the Great Outdoors. I decide to take Kenny Roger's advice and fold em. On the upside, I now know what it feel like to be pregnant.....with twins.
I left feeling the sharp sting of defeat, and stomach cramps. El Chubby was not something I ever wanted to say put a whooping on me but here I am. El Chubby will probly be hurting me for atleast another 12-24 hours in digestive distress, but all in all, I'd do it again. It was a great time and experience.
Great restaurant and great people. You gave me much more than I bargained for tonite. Screw regular old dinner time, I came for food but found El Chubby I'll never...
Read moreWent there Sunday at 4:00. There were only two men at the bar having drinks. Sat down with my family of 3. Immediately the man at the front was not friendly. He seemed bothered that we were there. We sat down and it took him several minutes to get us the silverware. Continued to seem annoyed with no smile on his face, no service at all. We placed our drink order; he didn’t ask. He placed our silverware down and was about to walk away and we asked for drinks. Again, seemed annoyed. Left to get us our drinks. 5 mins later we got our drinks. We asked for the menu as again he was about to walk away. He said there was a QR code on the table to see the menu. It was our first time here and the QR code is on the edge of the table and small. Didn’t even notice it and we were now sat a full 10 mins without being told about the digital menu, until we asked. He left and we waited another 10 mins. He attended to pick up orders first. When he came back, no smile and just says “What would you like?” with a notepad to take our order. Now we are annoyed that we sat for 20 mins and this whole time we are asking for drinks and menu and we’ve been waiting without service. The place is empty. Two guys drinking at the bar and later 1 person came by for a pick up order. Really?!? Plus no smile or warmth when talking with a customer, complete attitude and seeming annoyed we were there in the first place. We asked for the check for our drinks and decided to leave. No apologies were given. His explanation was “I’m by myself right now.” We paid and left. It was our first and last time at this establishment. I do not recommend...
