I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST ANYBODY TO VISIT THIS SALON FOR THE HAIR COLOR.

UPDATE: I NEVER SAID THAT I LOVED THE HAIRSTYLE. If YOU HAVE CAMERAS IN YOUR STUDIO, YOU CAN SEE THE RECORDING. YOUR STYLIST STARTED SAYING “I LOVE IT” . I JUST SMILED AND SAID THAT IT LOOKS NICE BECAUSE the stylist started curling my hair and I thought maybe my hair looks yellowish because of the sunlight!!! BUT I SAW THE ORIGINAL COLOR WHEN I reached home. And….WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SAY ABOUT THE DIFFERENT color shade ?????

PLEASE STOP LYING THAT I REACHED OUT TO YOU AFTER SEVERAL DAYS… I REACHED OUT TO YOU THE NEXT DAY OF MY HAIR COLOR. (I have added the screenshot of the chat). I HAVE THE CHATS AND MESSAGES. I CAME FOR THE HAIR COLOR ON 30th and I messaged you the next day. YOUR STYLIST TOLD ME THAT SHE IS AVAILABLE ON 6th @3pm. So stop lying!

I clearly told your stylist that I have two big events the next day of my hair coloring service! I wasn’t able to come the next day(When your hair stylist asked) because of THE EVENT.

And ABOUT THE BLOWOUT: I HAVE BEEN TO THE EXPENSIVE SALONS AND THE REASONABLE ONES… everybody does and style the hair after the hair wash, hair spa and hair color service. So why would you tell me that you are gonna refund my money for the toner + BLOWOUT.

PLEASE ACCEPT THAT YOUR STYLIST IS NOT EXPERIENCED. IF SHE WAS.. she would knew how to do the right color on the first go. Of course I REFUSED TO COME BACK BECAUSE I DIDN’T WANT TO DAMAGE MY HAIR AND I DIDN’T WANT TO TAKE the second CHANCE TO SPOIL MY HAIR MORE than how already the stylist had done it.

ORIGINAL POST⬇️ I strongly advise against visiting this salon for hair coloring services. My experience was utterly disappointing. My hair ended up with a golden,green+blue and yellowish tint, which was completely unexpected and not what I had requested.

The stylist clearly lacked the expertise to execute a proper hair color. I had shown her four or five images of the desired color, emphasizing the need to conceal my gray hair and avoid any yellowish undertones. However, after the hair wash and blow dry, it looked completely different to what I had envisioned. I initially thought it might be due to the lighting conditions at the salon. I had work to attend to, so I booked an uber and left. Upon returning home, I discovered that the color was indeed different. It had a golden and yellowish hue with a subtle mix of blue and green shades on the back. The grey hair was visible on the front.

The next day, I reached out to the salon to express my concerns. The stylist suggested that I come back and she would add a different toner. However, I felt that if the stylist had been more expert & attentive to my preferences when I showed her the images, she could have achieved the desired result on the first go. I made it clear that I would not be paying for a redo of my hair, which would likely cause further damage, and asked for the refund.

Surprisingly, the salon owner offered a refund of $113, which included the cost of the toner and blowout. However, I was shocked to find that she had added the blowout service, which I had not requested. This is typically a complimentary service provided by the salon. When I brought this to her attention, she revised her offer to include the $113 refund and the $20 tip. I even requested a partial refund of the amount I had paid, but she didn’t respond to that.

While the stylist who colored my hair was a nice person , but my primary concern was getting my hair colored and not building a friendly relationship with her. I had clearly communicated my preferences, but they were not met. As a result, my hair looks terrible, and I will have to spend another $400-$500 to get it done at a new salon. I have attached the images of what I asked for and what they did. I feel they should have refunded my whole 470$ what I paid because look how my hair looks golden and has weird blue patches...

I didn't want to name the hairdresser because she was very kind, but I am unhappy with my cut. I got a cut last Monday and called the store today(friday, which makes it almost two weeks) to talk to the owner (I got the manager), I explained my disappointment with the cut and she informed me that they have a week policy to be notified of unsatisfied hair cuts (2 weeks for color). Sadly, I wasn't aware of this, or I would have called within the time frame (I hate complaining and felt bad, but I finally decided I needed to. I also usually wear my hair up, so i haven't really gotten a chance to notice). The manager spoke to the owner and offered me to come in on Wednesday at 1 pm. I unfortunately couldn't take that appointment because I have work that day. I'm also a mom of 3 year old twins and dont get much time to myself, so being able to get my hair cut is a big deal. Anyway, I was informed that was the only time they could get me in, and if I couldn't make it, then I wouldn't be able to get my hair fixed.... so now I just have to deal with it. Whatever, hair grows back. I'm just disappointed that I was only given one option for a date and time. I unfortunately won't be returning for a third haircut. Other than this experience, the salon is clean and staff is friendly. I attached photos to show the cut job. FYI, I was supposed to have an A-cut with layering in the back. As you can see, the front is shorter than the back, the layers are all uneven, and the right side is totally messed up with a bigger section shorter in the front, then it's long where as the left side is a little more blended and looks better. went to the salon today super excited to do a haircut + style with Bianca D, @ 2:00. i get there about 1:55 and sitting in the waiting room until about 2:10 i ask the service man what time my service is again because maybe i got the time wrong, the man says 2:15 and i'm like perfect then sit down. i see that the text confirmed 2:00 with Bianca D. i think nothing of it because running late is normal - until it's about 2:40 i ask if they by any chance knew how much longer they would be and the man says probably 10 more minutes and im trying to have an open mind but it was hard given what time it was. it's now 2:50 and my mom called. it's now 3 and Allison a stylist pulls me over to her chair - and i ask if she will be my stylist today and she says yes. i am frustrated because Studio W Salons text system confirmed with me my stylist was Bianca D and my appointment was at 2:00. Allison starts washing my hair about a bit past 3 and i show her 4 pictures of how i would like my blowout to look - and the length of my hair. Now, allison was nice don't get me wrong - it just didn't come like a blowout it came like regular curls which i was disappointed because that's the only reason why i came to this salon because Bianca does beautiful blowouts, and Bianca is super nice and understanding, i was screaming because the service man on the phone said that they had in appointment with her available haha! we were done about 3:50/4 with no apology. my haircut came out very nice and smelled SO good from the hairspray they used, overall NOT a fan. no compensation...
