Doucet Saloon — Restaurant in California

I come here on a are occasion with my cousins to play some pool and drinks some beers. When people talk about dive bars they often mean places that resemble bars like Doucets, but in a hip way. Doucets has none of those trapping. This is pretty much the type of dive that can be described as a hole, prefaced by a four letter word that perfectly complements the description of a certain type of hole. You know of the biological variety. Get it?

No, yeah I mean it. The beers on offer here are minimal, and nothing here is anything but a staple of your local Safeway's beer aisle. The game tables here take their respective turns being "the one that is broken" and the patio looks like a prison patio complete with cigarette smokers huddled in every corner. This is one of Castro Valley's hidden gems. The amount of bar activities can keep you busy till closing. Somehow housing darts, billiards foosball, shuffleboard, Jenga, and electronic golf games this bar has it all. With a giant screen and various seating you can definitely bring a group or sit at the long bar that seems to get longer the more you drink. The thing you need to remember is to bring cash or you'll be visiting the a.t.m. they have on site. Nice large dive bar, has pool table, huge screen for sport events and I think dart board. The bar is long and server really nice (at least the few time I went.) It is a dive bar so no dress code and prices are good. They do have a large selection of liquor. So if you want so.thing a little more fancy than shots or beer they might be able to accommodate you. There is parking in the street and if you are hungry there are restaurant close by. And for once music is not too loud. Really like the bar. And go here every time...
