We love coming here with our Dogs to enjoy the trails. This is a large park that connects to Brushy Creek Lake Park by a trail or just a hop skip and a jump away in a car across the road. There are quite a few sports areas for ball games, a small skate park, a nice golf disc course, and of course - my favorite - trails to enjoy. There is a main paved trail and many dirt trails that you can venture on. This is a place for bikes, hikes, and good times. Read moreBrushy Creek Park is an excellent little city park hidden near the border between northwest Austin and Cedar Park, out Parmer Lane. It's a pleasant park with a good kids' play area, some sports areas, a great hiking trail along the creek, and a large open field next to the creek. As a bonus, the earthen dam on the northeast side of the park gives an open skyline and a good viewing for the full moon as it rises. It's one of the better spots I've found for getting a shot of someone silhouetted by the full moon, with the subject up on the dam and the photographer down in the open field by the trail. Good...
Read moreI have been visiting this place almost daily for the last 3 years ever since we moved to Austin.There are Skate boarding facility, Basketball courts, a paved trail which runs along the Brushy creek. It's very long and almost flat. Cycling mud trails and there is an opportunity for fishing as well. Awesome place if someone wants to do their runs on grass, I think there is no other place in Austin in my opinion.
