A true artist owns this adorable little shop! The owner, Tracie, is precious and she creates the most unique little gems - earrings (my weakness!), little decorations for the house, small pieces of painted furniture, you name it - she just has a little of everything and she puts her own unique stamp on every piece. The little side table she sold me is an older piece of furniture that she painted blue, then painted an ocean scene with two baby turtles scurrying into the surf, and then put a resin coat on the whole thing. It is adorable and, at $45, very reasonably priced, as are all her items. The building her little shop is in has been numerous things over the years and it could easily be missed, but you would miss a little treasure. Oh my goodness, my daughter and I are in love with this new unique gem of a find, Trace Taylor's lovely boutique! The owner/artist has lovely and very unique creations from local artisans and crafters, as well as her own works. Her selection is varied and beautifully presented...lovely jewelry, gorgeous wall decor, uniquely painted furniture and windows, unusual craftings... much of it is an upscale beach/coastal theme, but her prices are very reasonable. She is very busy teaching local classes, of all ages and all types of artistry, and some of that work is sold in her boutique. We have purchased many items from Trace, whose personality is perfect for this business, and she is currently painting some additional furniture pieces for us. I can not say enough good things about Tracy and her fabulous village!!! First I went and loved everything she had for sale. After buying way more then I should have I signed up for a resin class! Having had taken one before somewhere else I was not expecting much! I was shocked how much fun I had! She taught me not only how to mix but had a way of teaching me that I was creating my piece.
