I must start by saying that as a woman, we often times get the run around or blown off when we deal with electronics/appliance, car repairs, dealerships, etc. both in person and over the phone; we apparently are just accessories in a man’s world?
NOT AT ALL THE EXPERIENCE AT DEY DISTRIBUTING!!
From calling to verify if they had the part I needed, to paying over the phone (last one & wanted to be sure to get one), to pick up I was very impressed with this company.
I wish I remembered to ask the woman’s name whom looked up the part I needed and took my payment, as she was so knowledgeable, spoke English (sorry, but it’s hard to find these days), was easy to understand, and very polite!
Upon pick up, I was assisted by Donna, who was also very polite; she even apologized for not getting to me sooner (it had only been a couple minutes wait and wasn’t a bother)!
The building/showroom was organized and all was very clean as well, as their competitor’s is not.
You’ve definitely found a new customer and I’ll be sure to spread the word too!
If you haven’t checked them out, why not give them a call and see what they can do for you?
Btw, besides the great customer service, as an added bonus DEY was $30 cheaper than a nearby competitor in Fraser; by the tone of his voice, couldn’t be bothered to look up the actual price of the item in question “for a woman” he guesstimated what the price would be! Yes, he actually thought his joke was appropriate, not at all sexist, and funny!? Well, the joke is on you sir—I saved money AND found my new parts store!!!
Thank you DEY...
Read moreI loved this place years ago when it was under another name. I was back in this city today helping a friend fix an appliance and decided to get the part we needed here. I'll take the blame for not having the model number, but I didn't think it was needed. I walked in and asked the woman at the counter for my part. She said she needed the model number of the appliance. I said I didn't think it mattered and she insisted it did. So I went in the parking lot and proceeded to make and recieve half a dozen phone calls. 50 minutes later, I got the number I needed. I walked back in but this time got a different employee. He didn't even ask for the model number that I had scribbled onto the margins of a local newspaper. He came back in a flash with the exact part I needed. The first employee saw this take place and simply shrugged her shoulders at the incident. Then asked me, "Have you been here this whole time?" She offered no apologies and said...
Read moreThe worst experience I have ever had with a company in my adult life! I was actually sent three different shipments. All containing different parts. However, none of them were the part I ordered. One of these parts weren't even in servalls computer! Now, I spoke with Molly and Charlie on many occasions and even credited a refund and promised to receive the proper part as well. Mind you this part was supposed to be on "National back order." I was told that this part would now be shipped from whirlpool directly. A week later, I received yet another part that is incorrect! I again got on the phone with Charlie who proceeded to tell me that I never ordered the correct part!!! And, one of the parts was rejected by me because it was damaged!!! I feel as though toddlers could provide better service, as I have a small in home daycare and, if you ask a child for something, they deliver. Wish I could say the same for this...
