Taqueria Alma — Restaurant in Center Line

I was recommended to try these guys out by 3 different people that dont know each other in the same week. So i figured i have to give them a shot. Their customer service is nice but rushed. I ordered a ground beef taco and lunch steak fajitas. I ate them literally .5 miles away so the food is rated fairly. The taco was amazing but very oily. In fact ive had manyyy tacos and this one looked like it had all the oil from every taco i ate in my life in one taco😂🤣. Still tasted pretty amazing. Very thin and crunchy. The beans looked like they were cooked last year but tasted like they were made last week. Very dry. The rice was pretty tasty and good. Yellow lettuce is a no no. Avacado was perfectly ripe. The peppers were cooked perfectly and the onions should have been a bit more carmelized. The steak was tasty but not all of it. Some pieces were very chewy and wow the oil again. Soo much oil. The flour soft taco was veryyy good and tasted fresh.The best part of this meal was the mild sauce, yes they were out of hot sauce🙃🙃😡😡😡. The cilantro is very powerful in every bite taken with this sauce. Now heres the worst part. The part that wont allow me to give them more than 2 stars on this review. The styrofoam plate was melted🤔🤔🤮🤢. After finishing the food i realized that these guys have yet to learn how to properly utilize styrofoam plates. DO NOT put hot oily food in styrofoam plates. Very sad. That is very disgusting and i will never eat here again. If it wasnt for that i would have given them another shot but im not interested in eating styrofoam. Just FYI use wax paper under all the food you put in the styrofoam so it doesnt melt. Common sense...

Absolutely disgusting. I actually feel kind of bad writing a review like this but I don't want anybody else to go through what I went through. You spend $37 on food for your family you feel like you should be happy but I was anything but that. There was a thick layer of clear grease on the bottom of the taco container which I don't really understand. I guess they just don't drain the beef at all before they put it into the taco. Also the meat is seasoning is non existant. Just to make the food edible I had to scrape all of the taco meat out of the tacos put a seasoning packet in it and then make a taco salad. The birria was also not very flavorful. I was expecting authentic Mexican and I guess somebody's grandma forgot to pass on the recipes because this food was gross. The only reason why I stopped over here was because at a hair appointment nearby and I was just looking for something quick to grab on the way home and I'm really sorry I did. I ordered a taco dinner and when I placed the order, I specifically said I wanted the corn tortilla and asked if they fried it and they said yes, they fried it in light oil. I bring my order home and open up the container and noticed that they never fried it. It was tortillas that looked rubbery so I called them up to let them know they didn’t give me the order that I asked for and I had to go through three people to see if they would redo my order and they told me they could not fix my order that they made the mistake on. Come to find out when I sit down to eat it it wasn’t actually a taco. It looked like the chicken pollo because it only had cilantro, chicken and onion. So needless to say, they gave me a completely wrong order, but nonetheless, they wouldn’t have corrected THEIR error anyways. VERY BAD SERVICE!!! It was very dry and I was so disappointed but more so that they would not fix the mistake on their end . They could’ve had me as a permanent customer by just fixing their mistake, so they lost a customer. They do not do good honest business! I will stick with...
