Walgreens — Local services in Centralia

My doc noted generics were fine to substitute. When I picked up my prescription, it was way more expensive than I expected. When I asked why, I was simply told it's "x drug" and would count towards my deductible. Me, being someone who rarely needs medicine, paid for it not knowing any better, only to realize with some research I'd functionally been fleeced for no real reason. Why in the world would the pharm tech not give me a generic when that's the obvious option for a customer confused why their script costs so much? Very upset that they charged $32.00 for the same medicine that cost only $10 at a schnucks pharmacy and $5.00 at Walmart. In addition, they didn’t have it in stock when it was needed, They were told I would have to get it filled immediately at a different pharmacy. I had to have my husband pick up a different prescription a week later and they included the previous prescription without question. Even though, it is in blister packs, tamper proof packs, they refused to refund, even though I called them within 5 minutes of it being picked up. Price gouging...

Most of the time I'm extremely happy with the customer service and products at this location. My only real problem comes to when I use the app which is hella buggy. Have had a cpl rude staff members but I chock that up to them being busy and I'm sure understaffed.
