Avoid Gable at Century Center at All Costs! I did not want to give any stars at all but I had to in order to post this. I lived at Gable at Century Circle for five years, and while it was tolerable at first, the last year after management changed was an absolute nightmare. Here’s the reality of what you’ll deal with if you live here:
Dishonest and Predatory Leasing Practices: I signed a 3-month lease while waiting for my home to finish construction, clearly stating my intention to leave afterward. The leasing employee, Adahu, never informed me of any additional paperwork needed to finalize my move-out. When I asked later, they smugly claimed they weren’t required to tell me. When the lease ended, they blindsided me with an extra month’s rent on top of my current bill. This kind of deceitful practice screams of exploitation. Stolen Deposit: They took my deposit, claiming it was for carpet replacement, even though the damage was caused by a washer leak they refused to repair. Their refusal to take responsibility for maintenance issues is nothing short of theft. Horrendous Living Conditions: Filthy and Unhygienic: Dog poop everywhere. Yes, everywhere. If stepping in it isn’t your thing, steer clear. Unbearable Odors: The trash area smells so bad it will follow you into your apartment if you live anywhere near it. Even walking to the mail means gagging on the stench. Unsafe and Noisy: Fights at night are common, the gates are broken for days on end, and the noise levels are ridiculous. Forget about peaceful nights; this place turns into a circus after dark. Poor Maintenance: Smoking odors seep into your apartment, and management couldn’t care less about fixing the constant issues. Management’s Complete Indifference: The new management and employees are unresponsive, careless, and incompetent. They treat tenants like cash cows and refuse to address legitimate complaints. Living here after the management change was like being trapped in a nightmare. If you value your sanity, your sleep, or your health, DO NOT live here. Gable at Century Circle is the epitome of everything wrong with poorly...

My husband and I lived in this apartment from 2018 to 2024, a total of six years. It wasn’t comfortable, but we stayed because hated the moving process, at least until we purchased our home. Despite paying high rent, the experience was disastrous. The customer service was terrible. The stove broke down constantly, and it took multiple requests to get it repaired. The maintenance team frequently intruded on our privacy. Eventually, they replaced the stove with an old one from their storage.
They never cleaned or replaced the carpets, so we had to pay out of pocket for cleaning since they refused. The AC system was outdated and malfunctioned, leading to high electricity bills, especially in the summer. During a storm, our bedroom ceiling was damaged. We reported it, but they never fixed it, and the damage spread to the living room.
When we moved out, we cleaned the apartment thoroughly. We did a walk-through with a customer service representative, who confirmed everything was in good condition and assured us we would receive a clearance letter within a week. We also recorded a video upon departure. However, we later received a move-out inspection claiming we were responsible for the ceiling damage caused by their negligence. They sent us a letter demanding payment and referred the matter to a collection agency.
The collection agency ignored our side of the story, bombarding us with threatening calls and emails that jeopardized our credit. Management at the apartment complex changed frequently, and it was frustrating to deal with a new person every time. The manager often locked himself in his office, refusing to address any concerns. Meanwhile, the maintenance manager—a large white man—was arrogant and unprofessional. Their only focus seemed to be on decorating the office and pool area to attract new tenants. Multiple evictions...
Read moreMy last name is changed for confidentiality. So… I moved in today and let me just say OMG, what a freaking nightmare! After filling out my application (through VERO) and being approved, it was one thing after another. First, the rental rate changed 3 times (not sure why I wasn’t locked in at the first quoted price). I chose this place for the lower rental prices because I’m looking to buy a home next year. However, despite being quoted one price I ended paying the same premium price I’d pay at a newer & nicer community. Moreover, the system didn’t recognize me as a prospective resident and thus paying my security deposit took days —even with the help of rent cafe support. I was in a limbo as you can’t get keys or sign your lease without paying the deposit first. Then, after I signed my lease, I had to wait on keys (which maintenance did come relatively fast to rectify) but d*mn, y’all knew I was moving in today. That should have been done! Fast forward to my walk-through inspection (I was given a different apt than the one I originally saw). My apartment was not cleaned properly. Everything looked worn, toilet dirty & leaking, dishwasher dirty (black mold & rust at the bottom), refrigerator old and scratched up with tape marks everywhere. Window sills dirty, dirty spots on the walls, lighting switch & plug covers dirty. The apartment is already outdated considering the newer properties in Atlanta, but on top of that, y’all want to give new residents run-down appliances. Gables Century Center is just not worth the price. I feel like I made the wrong decision giving this place another chance (I lived here in the past and it WAS great). I honestly wish I would have paid a premium and chosen a real, luxury community where I feel like I’m a person and not a number. WHAT A STRESSFUL APP PROCESS AND MOVE-IN. I literally need a drink. I DO NOT RECOMMEND if you’re like me and appreciate quality! What do you do when your new place doesn’t feel like...
