If I could give a negative 1000 I would! I visited the Verizon store in Chamblee, GA with my mother to inquire about potentially purchasing a new phone. Unfortunately, what should have been a routine visit turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Upon entering the store, we were not greeted, instead we were met with eye rolls from the only male sales associate present, who was framed like a body builder wearing tight jeans and clear nail polish. From the beginning, his demeanor was dismissive and unprofessional. As my mother began asking questions to better understand the payment plan and expressed her concerns, the associate became increasingly rude and began speaking over her. When she respectfully asked him not to interrupt and pointed out that he was being rude, his behavior escalated. He became visibly irate and repeatedly told my mother to “leave his store NOW,” raising his voice and growing more aggressive with each repetition. At no point did my mother act disrespectfully or in any way that would justify such a hostile response. She asked for his name multiple times so she could file a proper complaint, but he refused to provide it and continued to demand that we leave the premises. This type of behavior is absolutely unacceptable from anyone in a customer-facing role, let alone someone representing Verizon. The associate's aggressive tone, complete lack of professionalism, and refusal to identify himself created an upsetting and stressful experience that has left a lasting negative impression. My mother did not deserve to be treated this way as she has been a loyal customer for many years. Not only was this encounter disrespectful, but it also disrupted our day and left us both shocked and disappointed. I hope Verizon takes this complaint seriously and addresses the issue accordingly. No customer should ever be subjected to this kind...
Read moreThis is not Verizon — it’s Victra, an authorized retailer. You’re much better off going through Verizon corporate or online.
I added six lines here on two separate occasions and paid nearly $900 in taxes and so-called “activation fees” ($40 per line). On my first visit, the rep assured me that what I paid would appear in my Verizon account. It never did, and I was left with a balance. On the second visit, my brother experienced the same issue when switching to Verizon.
After speaking directly with Verizon customer service, I learned that this location charged me for SIM cards and setup fees, not actual Verizon activation fees — despite being told otherwise. The terminology they use is misleading at best, and dishonest at worst.
To make matters worse, my brother was told by the rep that Disney, Hulu, and Netflix were “free and on them.” In reality, they were only free trials that would later convert to monthly subscriptions. If I hadn’t double-checked, we could’ve ended up paying for duplicate streaming accounts.
Even a Verizon corporate rep warned me to avoid these authorized retailers and gave me a $200 credit because of the misinformation I experienced here.
To the employees who helped me, Kayla and Tron: I don’t hold personal resentment, but the way fees and promotions are explained here is not transparent. Customers deserve honesty, not confusion or half-truths. They obviously don't mind scamming military veterans, but hey, you know what they say:...
Read moreThis store was rude to me for no reason. I called the store before i made a 40 minute drive to see if they would still be open to give me a device I purchased online. They closed at 7 and i told them i would be there at 7:04 would that be ok. The manager on the phone told me to come to store and that it would be ok. I got to the store at exactly 7:04 and they refused to let me in to pick up my device. The part about this that was so disappointing is the fact that I spoke with the person on the phone before I left my house. He told me to come to the store. Then refused to let me pick up a device that was already paid for.
Lastly, there were still customers in the store. So even if they store was closed, there were still transactions that they were completing. If I'm being honest, it felt like they saw me and decided not to let me in the store. The representative went to the back of the store to get the manager and he came to the front to let me know that I would not be allowed to pick up my...
