Been coming here with my family for two decades, but after last night we will never be coming back. The experience was so bad that I had to call the owner Michael Klank to let him know. (I also emailed Eddie Hernandez and the manager Brent, but they never responded back… which is why I tracked down Michael’s cell phone number on Google)
From start to finish it was a miserable experience. The line did not go outside the door as it usually does, but instead everyone was pushed into the dining room. The inside was unbearably crowded, loud, and you had to yell to be heard.
After ordering we could not find a table large enough for our family group of 8. One of my nieces in our group was having a panic attack because of how loud it was inside. She and her cousin sat at a two top in the sun room while the rest of us sat at a 6 top in the main dining room. A manager came up to the teens at the two top and told them they couldn’t sit there and that she had to be with the rest of our group. When she told the manager that it was too loud and she was not comfortable in the main dining area, the manager yelled at my niece (and my 78 year old mom who was trying to stand up for her grandchild) and said if it was too loud we had to go outside. It was 40 degrees out and there is no light or heating or wind proof curtains outside.
So they added extra chairs to our already crowded table and made 8 of us sit at a 6 top.
Food finally came. Some of it was cold and not cooked through.
Frustrated, I went to find someone to complain that we had been treated with open hostility and rudeness, given cold food, and forced to sit in a very uncomfortable place. The worker just looked at me and said “whatever” and walked away. I talked to another staff member and she said “And what do you expect me to do about it?”
While the service at TDS is often abrupt and gruff, the staff were openly hostile to us and ensured that our already unpleasant experience was made worse.
We will never be...

My husband and I have enjoyed this restaurant chain for years, but after last night, I don’t know if we’ll be returning. I recently broke my leg and am on crutches with an aircast. My husband arrived about 10 minutes before me to buy a drink and waters so he could secure a table for us, saving me from having to stand in line.
After I arrived and sat down, my husband promptly joined the food line. Within minutes, one of their team members came over and told me I needed to get up from my table and sit on a bench until my husband had ordered our food—because of their “system.”
I’m very familiar with how their restaurant works, and that’s exactly why my husband purchased beverages before ordering—so we could get a table. I politely explained that my leg was broken and my husband was already in line, assuming she hadn’t noticed the boot on my leg, my bright pink crutches leaning against the wall, or the drinks on the table we had already purchased.
Instead of showing understanding, she repeated herself and again told me to move to a bench. At that moment, my crutches were out of reach, I had my crossbody purse, two waters, and my husband’s Ranch Water on the table. Even if I could grab my crutches, I couldn’t have carried everything by myself. My husband was now third in line.
She walked away, and suddenly, multiple tables around me were cleared—five in total. I’m not sure if it was coincidence or if other guests overheard the conversation. She then returned to tell me it “wasn’t a big deal” anymore because more tables had opened up.
I have NEVER been treated this way in my life. This experience was humiliating, and it showed a complete lack of empathy or basic ADA awareness. I would hate to think how they would treat someone with a permanent disability. This company seriously needs to invest in ADA and coustomer service training...
Read moreI have worked in bars/restaurants for over 8 years and I have to say that is the saddest excuse for a restaurant manager I have seen in a LONG while. My father was cut off by this so called "higher up" when he was explaining he was trying to accommodate my special needs child who just needed to sit in a chair (oh which I brought the booster seat I would not recommend this place to people with little ones definitely NOT child friendly). As I work in restaurants I was curious so I kept an eye on him as he continued to "work", if that's even what you can call it. He sat with a table of presumably his friends for about 40-45 min and when he would get up to check on the restaurant he piddled around not actually doing anything at all just looking over the shoulder of bartenders and register workers before disappearing in to the back to probably mooch some tortilla chips. He claimed that restaurant would be so busy that he wouldn't give us the proper table size initially for our group because it would be too busy to spare a single table. We walked in with a large group and only had a few joiners who weren't but 10-15 min behind us in line. Something I also kept an eye on was the table top count. As a former hostess I can safely say I could have sat at least 2 large parties and several 4 top tables the entire time we were there. They literally have busers who kept all tables around us in rotation. All in all I would suggest not giving this location your business better off going to the Decatur location which is way more customer friendly! Whoever is in charge of this franchise of the chain should FIRE that incompetent manager. Seems like I'm not the first person to have an unpleasant...
