The reason why I'm leaving this review is because Im still in pain after visiting 3 days ago. If I could give this 0 stars I would. I have never had such a terrible experience at a nail salon. On Sunday I walked in to get a manicure and pedicure. The woman that did my pedicure cut me while trying to cut down my cuticles and I understand accidents happen. She cut me again and I told her that hurts and she said she was sorry. Again accidents happen. She pours alcohol of the areas she cut me and continues.
This woman cuts me again and I kindly ask her just to leave it alone and she jokes about how there is a piece of skin she's been trying to get and tries again. I kindly ask her to leave it alone because it is so painful but she continues and cuts me again. After asking her several times to stop and pulling away eventually she stops and continues on. I didn't get the pedicure service I asked for but I was so over being there and was in so much pain I just wanted to get my toes painted and leave.
I was paying attention to the man that was doing my gel nails because he was asking about what I wanted for my hands when all of a sudden AGAIN the woman takes the cuticle cutters and cuts me. I kindly asked her to please stop several times and she finishes with painting my nails and puts alcohol on my right foot. Each one of my toes burn from the areas.
She takes me up to pay after she walks away I notice that my foot was bleeding and express to the front desk staff (such a kind woman) that I am concerned about the amount of bleeding my foot because I am 8 months pregnant and explained what happened. She tries to get the attention of the salon owner who was working on a client. She told me to have a seat and she would be right over. The woman that did my pedicure came over and use a towel to wipe away the blood and I asked her to please stop. Another woman comes over a places pressure with gauze and applies an antibiotic ointment.
When I was done, the owner of the salon, whom had no urgency to address the situation was telling me to put Listerine on my foot (which doesn't make sense). She told me to stop wearing closed toed shoes (which I wasn't wearing, I was wearing open toe slides). She didn't seem to care about what happened but instead cared to ask if I have been there before and offered a credit to come back. I told her I would rather have a refund and she didn't refund me the full amount of the pedicure but I was just done with the place so I said thank you to the kind lady at the front desk and left. By the time, walked to my car because of gravity there was so much inflammation around my toes and I was in so much pain that I could walk around very much.
Aside from the terrible pedicure experience, my gel manicure, looks terrible. The application was so uneven and already looks like I need to get them redone and it's only been 3 days.
I hope that Luxury Nail Bar can learn from my experience and better train their team so that this doesn't happen to...

However, I still decided to spend my money here and adjust to the many different nail techs theyāve had. Today I went because I am going out of town and needed a manicure and unfortunately for work I cannot have gel or SNS so I chose to get a regular manicure. My appointment was at 6pm. I was not seen until 6:10 pm. The nail tech rushed painting my nails and after polishing 3 coats she told me to sit for 7 minutes before spraying dry fast on them. Please let me mention that this entire salon removed ALL nail dryers from the front of the salon . So I am air drying my nails with no fan or assistance. I told her they were not dry, when I went to get a tip out of my nurse 2 nails messed up. I asked them to fix it and another lady comes over to do so. She applies 1 coat and āclear polishā and leaves me sitting in front of a portable fan for over 30 minutes. Finally, I asked the front desk lady to ask her if she will come back and finish my nails. She comes back over and tells me Iām done, I did 1 coat already. I have on regular polish so why she thought 1 coat would be sufficient is beyond me. Then I tell her my other nails have 3 coats , she still proceeds to tell me that I am done and tried to argue with me . At that point, I took a pic of the color I used so that I can go to another establishment to fix it. I will never give this business my money ever again after years of coming here. I donāt know if theyāre under new management or what but I was the second person to complain about my service prior to leaving today. The service was shaky upon asking for service for me and my daughter I got SNS and a gel pedicure and my daughter got a pedicure. They rushed on us it was Sunday at like 430 the guy who worked on me got up and ran to the door upon ever customer funny thing when we walked in we did not get greeted in the same manner everyone stayed seated after checking out I asked for my receipt I was told I would get a copy with everything I asked for the other copy of so i can record my tip that I put down on the first copy but he handed me another receipt with our services i didnt want to make a fuss I never thought something like this would happen but that's why I also do ask so I can record it for my purposes I do it everywhere I leave a tip. I left them a $20 tip and I guess that wasn't enough they added an additional $15.00 I called to try and see if it was a error so it can be resolved they said they would call me back and never did I initially left 4 stars because I did like the out come of my nails but after this I'm now moving forward and filing a police report I want to pay for my services but you just dont take advantage of people information like that its not right. So I advise pay cash or just dont go this business cannot be trusted and has committed a crime it may just be 15$ but 20$ is a good tip.
