My wife and I were preparing to celebrate our 5-year anniversary and I wanted to buy her something special that would complement her wedding ring. My wife had been looking online for over a year and we had been to a number of jewelers in town but still had not been able to find the perfect ring. We went together to Flora Gems and met with Val and she carefully listened to my wife’s description of what she was looking for and then brought out a couple rings to get a better idea of what she liked. She asked us to give her a couple days (now that she knew what we were looking for) and contacted us to let us know when the samples had arrived. Sure enough, when we returned she showed us an eternity band sample that was absolutely perfect and we placed the order that day.

Now this should be the end of the review, but sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned. It turns out the vendor made a mistake and sent a ring that was slightly different than the sample. Val and Anna both made it very clear a mistake had been made and they would do whatever it took to resolve to our satisfaction. They contacted the vendor and worked with them to get the replacement quickly and even provided us with the sample ring (my wife wears it when we travel) to compensate for our frustration.

I don’t typically write reviews but when someone goes above and beyond, I feel they should be provided the recognition they deserve. You can count on both Val and Anna at Flora Gems to provide you with incredible service/support and in the rare case things don’t go as expected, they will stand behind their promise and make sure you are totally satisfied. I could not express in words how incredible flora gems is. In particular Mrs. Olivia was an absolute gem to work with. She made the process of getting an engagement ring interactive and so smooth and easy. In the beginning I had my heart on a diamond, but did not put money down on it to reserve it. Of course it sold the next day, but Olivia being phenomenal ordered a similar diamond that ended up being even more quality and felt absolutely right. She helped me choose the maker, stating it was the same she used for hers and loved it. Was so friendly and available. Extremely flexible and invested in the whole process. When we came back to see her and introduce her to my finance, Olivia’s face lit up and she was so excited to meet her! She was so incredibly invested. My fiancé, Brittany, felt a little rough spot on the band and Olivia instantly offered to take it back to the jeweler to have it cleaned and buffed out. Fixed the small issue immediately. I could not say enough about Flora Gems and especially Olivia. If you are ever wondering who to go to for any jewelry needs, I IMPLORE you to go here. Ask for anyone, but I definitely hope you get Mrs. Olivia. We will definitely be returning for all of ours. Especially for our wedding bands. My fiancé, Phillip, worked very closely with Stacey Hubbard on the selection and purchase of my engagement ring, which Phillip presented to me a few weeks ago (see photo). Having flown in from Oregon, where Phillip lives, he arrived in Champaign with a ring in hand that he planned to give me. However, after learning I had a friend (Stacey) that worked at Flora Gems, Phillip arranged to meet with Stacey to see what Flora Gems could offer. That was the best decision he made! Stacey went out of her way to meet with Phillip to discuss options at Flora Gems. Stacey and her team spent over 3 hours with Phillip, getting to know him, and learning about our love story. That helped Stacey put a selection together that was sure to satisfy. One ring, in particular, stood out to Phillip immediately. It was the "one"! He knew he would not find a more unique ring anywhere else! To assist further, Stacey and her team allowed Phillip to trade the ring in that he bought in Oregon as credit towards his Flora Gems purchase. It was a win-win!
