Yes, the lady who works here is Korean, so some people might think she does not know how to handle hair of other races, but I want to assure people that it is not true.

Once you talk with her about hairstyling and how to care hair, you would find out she has dedicated in this profession for 30 years (20 years in chicago and 10 years in champaign)

Also, she has a great passion in her job and always try to help people who does not know what kind of hairstyle they look good with (a person like me).

Today, she changed my rug like hair into a very well fined hair within 30minutes, educating me what kind of things are needed to take care of my hair. This time was worthy more than just a haircut since not only I got a haircut but also I got a lecture.

I had an amazing experience getting my hair done by Sophia! She is incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel comfortable from start to finish. Her skills are outstanding—I’m absolutely thrilled with how my perm turned out. Everything looks so neat and well-done! Sophia is very good at what she does! I was in and out in around 20 minutes, and the haircut came out perfect. I just showed her a picture of what I wanted and she was right on, no need to explain guard numbers like I had to at great clips or anything (she doesnt use guards anyway). The room itself was very clean and had lots of windows for natural light, very comfy seats, and a bowl with snacks and mints.

For a men's haircut, it was $35, plus tip I paid around $40, so its up there in the price range, but I think her experience...
