I went in for a haircut in June and will never go back. My regular stylist at Juut was on maternity leave so I figured I'd give this place a try since it's so close to home. BIG mistake The stylist and I talked at great length about what I was looking for I showed her a picture told her how many inches and where I wanted my hair to fall length wise. SHE CUT 4 INCHES OFF MY hair because she was so busy talking and not paying attention. It was way shorter than I wanted, the layering was lopsided and uneven, and the cut was uneven in general. I couldn't even have her fix it at the end of the appointment, and even then the only way to fix it was to take it even shorter! she'd taken so long I had to literally run out of there to make sure I wasn't late for my next appointment. I couldn't watch what she was doing to even say it was too short because their salon is so cramped that she had to have me facing away from the mirror in order to have space to actually cut my hair due to other stylists working in the same area. The haircut was so ugly, not even remotely close to what I wanted and I couldn't even pull the sides back for working out because she had cut it so short.

Generously rating two stars.. because I have had my hair done here (for years!) with Maya, and she was amazing. So two gold stars for scouting good talent, Spalon. Maya has since moved to a different salon.

But today, after attempting to get my nails done here.... I cannot. I cannot.

First of all, they do not know what a ombré acrylic set is. None of the technicians knew how to do this! Bizarre! Second, they DO NOT use nail extensions, it is all acrylic... what?!? Third...... and most importantly... they hand-file! Like, no machine. Just by hand. So if you have hours and hours of free time and enjoy spending DOUBLE the price for horrible nails. Go here! They’ve got that down!

My technician got two nails in, before I kindly asked her to stop. Just... no more, please. I am not paying $80+ dollars for something you can’t even do. I’d rather go to a nail salon where, you know, they know what they are doing.
