*update i’ve been to this ALDI 5 or 5 more times now. They’ve all been a much better experience! One lady in particular is always very friendly and I see her being helpful to “new to Aldi“customers upfront, instead of embarrassing them. Outside of that worker going above and beyond, the rest of my trips have all been pretty close to exactly what one would expect out of Aldi. Seems like they’re pulling it together, so as promised I am updating my review. I will bump it up to five out of five stars if one of the workers loading or unloading out in the isles actually manages to make eye contact with me or smile.
Looks prettier from the outside, and the inside than most other Aldi’s! BUT looks can be deceiving. Was wholly disappointed in the staff, and their attitudes. It’s unlike me, but I actually gave a very little bit of attitude back when I was reprimanded by the cashier for trying to be kind. That was the icing on an already bland depressing and disappointing cake. While you go to ALDI for prices and quality, not the cheerful ready service you may get at some other stores, this new ALDI brought the lack of service and customer friendliness to an ALDI all time low. I was disappointed, being hopeful spirits would be high as a store just opened and already seems popular. I also hoped it would compete with the Eden Prairie ALDI as being the most friendly/cheerful ALDI. While Eden Prairie is no party, I’ve always had good experiences with their staff. Read moreI got really bad experience with the guy at cashier ( he also a manager ) I am instercart shopper tonight I got 2 big order with lot of items for 2 customers I done with 1 order then 2 order I going to check out I told him that make sure the items of 2 order don’t mess together . He started talk dirty…. Then he said that my job to have separate those items if they mixed together well I don’t want talk anymore then I asked him that I can use different shopping cart so I got 2 shopping cart then he said the store don’t let me do it well then I decided not talked to this guy anymore . Then I said ok then do it on 1 shopping cart because I spent lot of times in store already . Abs he said he not checkout for me anymore even I got all the items for customer , then he pushed my shopping cart away then he said u get out of my shop . This is not the first time this is the second time already ( 1 times I don’t wanna do it I have cancel the order beacuse he mixed all the items together ) . I thinks from the beginning he doesn’t like me since I just started to worked for instacart few months ago . I asked him for help some items I don’t know he said that’s my job to looking for the items don’t asked me or people here to help u . I thinks that s y he been treat me so bad for 2 times like that . Read moreUsually I like this Aldi, however, this time I was really disappointed. I saw the weekly ad with an Intex Easy Set Pool for sale for $49.99 which I was pretty excited about, given that it's hard to find an inflatable pool right now and the weather is getting hot. It was supposed to be available from June 10th (today). The store opens at 9 and I pulled in at 9:02, only to find out once I got in the store that they were completely out of stock. I understand that it was advertised as a limited amount item, however what really irritates me is that they had exactly 4 in stock. Only 4! I'm sure this ad went to thousands of people and they had 4 in stock. Not only that, but they let one person buy 2 pools! So 3 people out of the thousands advertised to were able to buy that pool. I think that is extremely deceptive and it makes me dislike the company. Obviously their advertising cannot be relied on. It's absolutely ridiculous that they would advertise something like that to thousands of people and only stock 4.
In the future, I will return to Cub, whose advertising is accurate and not deceptive...
