I enjoyed the carrot, yogurt, and feta cheese spread with bread. (Very garlicky) Overall, the food is okay if you are looking for a fast-service, order-and-seat-yourself dining experience. It has an open and pleasant front entrance with seating if you are meeting up with other party members. Surprisingly, its ambiance lacked much of what says “Mediterranean.” They offer a nice selection of gyros, kebabs, and falafel. Several versions of lamb are on the menu. Wine is available. Parking is available in the shared shopping center parking lot. It is easy for people with wheelchairs or strollers as there are no steps. The lamps they use for lighting are richly colored, and the one decor feature that gives tribute to the Mediterranean (or Turkish) culture. They are also for sale. I’d made a reservation but there was no need to. We were simply added to the standing line of people waiting to place an order. The staff were friendly and seemed largely to be Caucasian Chanhassen local youth. I’m not sure this fully qualifies as serving “Traditional Mediterranean meals”, but it’s a good option. Their menu seems “Americanized”. The food tastes more like they have adapted their ancestors' old recipes to make from locally sourced ingredients. There is more interior seating than first meets the eye as it wraps around towards the back. There are long tables for larger families or groups. I found them because they are active on social media outlets. Note, you can also use Uber to preorder your meal and deliver it. I do like how they have fund-raisers for worthy causes.

First time to the Med Box Grill. Not sure about the name, because I would've not picked this place unless a friend recommended it to me. Med Box sounds more like a medical supply company than an exquisite Mediterranean Grill that it turned out to be. Very nice and clean restaurant with plenty of seating. Super friendly service that caters to the customer's needs and wants. You have to order at the counter and then you sit down and wait for the food to be brought to your table. I ordered the beef shish kebab plate and substituted the rice with another side salad because I didn't feel like rice today. When the food was brought out I was shocked about the size of the salad. This was by far the largest salad I have ever seen and I have seen some large salads. I'm not the to-go-box type of guy, but I was not able to finish. Looking forward to eating the rest later today for dinner. The meat skewers were tasty, a little small but the giant salad made up for it. What I missed was a side of pita bread, that would've rounded up the meal for me. Would've come in handy too to dip into the delicious assortment of sauces that came with the meal. Overall well worth coming here again and probably again and again. Well done Med Box Grill, despite the name. 😀

2nd time at the Med Box, wonderful food, exquisite service by Sedef and as always a clean and inviting ambiance. Looking forward to...

Disgusting white people food.

Wish I could give this place zero stars. I wanted a refund immediately, but felt sorry for the owner and employees. So we just took a few bites and got up and left. I’ll never recommend anyone eat at this place. Like, what the hell did we come into?

Terrible service (most of it is self serve, so don’t bother tipping anyone) and random employees are randomly selected to run a random restaurant with no real experience and interest in the food and service culture.

Not authentic at all, something out of a kitchen where someone watched a video and decided to shortcut Mediterranean cultural recipes to make it look like Mediterranean food, it’s far from even good tasting.

Hard and tasteless bread and wraps ingredients. Chicken is dry and over cooked, gyro meat is flavorless and taste like old spam. Veggies are straight out of a left over waste bin, and the banana peppers are NOT Mediterranean fermented, it’s just vinegar jar food from the grocery store.

Where did this place get its 4.8 rating, that’s embarrassing. People need to do their research and go explore outside of this city if they want real Mediterranean food and better service.

Never coming back, and strongly advise anyone to save their time, money and taste. Don’t even try it. Don’t call this place Mediterranean, just call it a “chicken corner wrap and...
