If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. This facility and the people who run it are the worst! They say they âcareâ and âtryâ but the reality is that they donât. The manager now (I wonât put her name) said it is due to âhuman errorâ, those were her exact words. I was shocked ! Is human error laziness?? Is human error not holding people accountable ? No, Iâm sorry itâs not human error, itâs the person in charge that FAILS to hold the staff accountable. If they did they would be doing things to take better care of their residents. I continue to speak to the management team here and they fail time and time again to do provide simple hygiene care for my father. I have time and time again met with them for simple issues of, brushing teeth, cleaning his water jug, taking him a bath, ants in his room, and just looking dirty EVERY SINGLE time I go see him. I have gotten the ombudsman involved and yet nothing seems to change. They lack the care and compassion for these residents. I am looking into moving my dad into another facility and shouldnât have to. Iâm am very involved in his care and am close to him that is why as a family decided to place him here. Itâs unfair that I have to look to other places further out where I wonât have the flexibility to see him as often. Unfortunately due to the non care he is receiving here I have to for his well being. So, if your looking for somewhere to place your loved one DONT PLACE THEM HERE. They have a Facebook page too, why isnât there any pictures of their residents? Ask yourself, why? Because⌠they are dirty, unshaved and unkept! Also, I noticed these â5 star âď¸ reviewsâ, honestly they seem bogus. Maybe some of the staff or the management family members?? I highly think so.    Read moreDo not bring your family to this place. They do not care for the patients. I had a relative stay at this location for some weeks and everyday I visited it was something different. They are short staffed, some of the people that work there have attitudes when you try to ask questions about the patient or about why something has not been done. On one visit I noticed the nurse call button was unplugged, so no way of calling for help. The room was dirty, they do not help the patients shower, so if that person needs help getting up most likely they are not showered. They keep them in diapers and tell the patients to go in the diaper instead of helping them to the restroom which is in the same room. I found my relative twice with urine coming out of the clothes and on to the bed because they donât check on patients. When the patient calls for the nurse they tell them to stop pressing the button. The only time something is done is when they see family members there and yet they give attitude. On another occasion they had all the patients in the hallway sitting in wheelchairs. Another time I saw a patient halfway on the bed looked like they were falling. Therapy was not given to my relative as needed, sometimes they only got 15 minutes in a day, but yet the facility is charging full price for that.    Read moreThis facility is horrible. They treated my 100 year old mother like she was a piece of meat. No one communicates with anyone else. Most aides do as little as possible (unless it's talking on their phones). They are rude & uncaring. Residents have to wait for assistance. Things are broken & only one maintenance person for the entire facility. We took my mom out after about 6 weeks. It took almost 2 months to receive our refund. They came up with every excuse for the delay that they could. On Nov. 16th, they had their Thanksgiving dinner. One unattended resident was close to us. An aide (or nurse) came by & spoke with him. She received no response & screamed for help because resident was turning blue. After getting him on the floor, with someone doing CPR & yelling to get the crash cart, it was determined he was choking. No one knew where the LifeVac was located, one aide yelling "I don't know what to do" & someone else yelling to call 911. My niece was the person that ended up calling 911. Thankfully, this man recovered - but not because of anything the facility did. Again, this is a horrible place & we are so sorry that my mom ever ended up there. She was moved to my sister's home & passed away 2 months later. She kept thinking she was still at the facility & stayed very upset until the end. DO NOT TAKE A...
