Needful Things Emporium — Local services in Charles Town

Having not visited Needful Things since they've re-evaluated their business model, I wasn't sure if I'd be fond of the changes. That said, I found the new experience to be positive.

With a focus now on allowing local vendors their own small shopping booths, there are just as many odds and ends available as before. The inventory has gone more from anitque to locally-made products, although some vendors certainly still offer the former.

Inside, the store is quite clean. Dozens of booths are present, one after another, so it very much feels as if walking through a miniature indoor mall as each space has its own personality and sense of presence.

Personally, I left with the impression that Needful Things is now a premium store choice when needing to shop for gifts of any occasion and will certainly return when the event arises. That their storefront now helps smaller vendors nurture their growing businesses is one I think...

Nice of you to have people's vehicles towed when you're closed. Have the day you deserve. 😊 The signs are on the opposite side of where we parked along the building. This also isn't the first time I've parked against the fence and there was never an issue before. I paid a hundred dollars to the tow truck driver to drop the vehicle and he along with a few other people told me there is a person who calls it in to snitch. That person is obviously getting a cut and has a pathetic life. Once again, I've parked there several times over the years and last Friday night was the first time there was an issue. I love the unique homemade new items here. I would buy more items here but there has been a couple of times where some of the vendors they don’t seem to price items to crazy but there're is some of the vendors who do price to crazy I saw an item that was $4.99 at a thrift shop yes, the item had the same flaws well they marked the item beyond then whats its worth. Then people wonder why thrift stores prices are crazy. Thats why I buy handmade just don’t want to be ripped off. small business would get more business if they didn’t do stuff like this also they had a Christmas items thats at walmart again I say the same item for sale down the road at walmart let’s just say it’s way...
