EIU Union Bookstore — Local services in Charleston

We try to visit the university union bookstore at least once a year. This is the first year that we didn't find anything we liked in the clothing section. It seemed like the designs from which to choose either had block lettering, or they had the newest panther logo. There were other designs, but not many, and the prices on almost everything were way too high. We used to find a bigger variety of panther or Old Main logos, as well as a bigger variety of lettering types, but not this time. They also used to carry more embroidered items whereas now most of the clothing is silk screened. I don't mind silk screened designs, but not at embroidery prices, and the few embroidered items were priced so high I almost fainted! I hope they go back to a wider variety of logo styles and lettering styles, and I hope the prices come back down, otherwise we're going to have to try...

I Loved the Bookstore. There were so many things to choose from. I narrowed my purchases to 2 shirts, a hat & 3 super cute purse/lunch bags we're ready 4 football season... The quality of the clothing is very good. The prices are very reasonable. The staff was very nice & helpful. When visiting my son during the school year I will make frequent trips to the bookstore to buy...

Good selection in most departments. Have apparel for multiple specific departments, including Marching Band, alumni gifts, stadium stuff, electronics, etc. Still looking for boy's t-shirt. Other campus stores also have limited options in boy's sizes, so maybe it is an industry issue. Many staple items, like standard t-shirts and sweatshirts, are priced to sell and...
