I am so thankful for the incredible support and guidance I’ve received from my academic advisor and professors at Eastern Illinois University. My advisor/professor, Jacqueline Janesku, has been outstanding these past couple of years, always patient, supportive, and encouraging. She not only helped me stay on track academically, but also made me feel like I had a true advocate in my corner.

I also want to give special recognition to some of my professors who made a lasting impact on my journey: Dr. Gordon Tucker, Dr. Misty Rhoads, Jan A. Murphy Morgan, and Dr. Thapaliya. Each of them brought such passion to their teaching and showed a genuine investment in their students’ success. My wife and i have helped a young lady for years who was the daughter of a single mom that recently passed away. This girl was alone in the world and Eastern Illinois University and their staff have adopted her as their own. The V.P. of Student services Dr J Sipes personally walked her around campus making sure that every need was met and question answered. Hours were spent by so many i could not name them all and so many with tears in their eyes and a drive to help. if you are thinking of sending your child to a university i recommend strongly that you consider the unknown future and trust them to a school that will take care of them as if they are their own, you never know what the future brings. First time visiting this school to see my little brother and I can't believe how rude the security guards. My little brother wanted to see a concert, and the security guards treat everyone like a common criminal shoving you about to do a pat down. I have never felt so violated. I honestly can't believe how much that security guard has embarrassed me. He should be arrested his for his behavior.
