I was not very happy with this place as well as a lot of healthcare facilities and Doctors here in NC. Well I get to the office and I'm expecting to see The Doctor that I saw the first time but instead I saw the Nurse Practitioner who was nice but I expected to see the sleep Doctor she explained that I will be seeing her from now on I asked why and was told you only see the Doctor just once. I expressed my disappointment because I was not told I would no longer see the Doctor. I explained to her that I notice that the healthcare system down her is horrible its either you get doctors that see once and not again or they order test and you may get a call or not, its hard to get appointments with you doctors and a specialist you can forget it. I have so many issues with how they run healthcare down here and the horror stories I have heard and witnessed and also have gone thru myself. I told my husband if we get real sick we are going back up north for our treatment I would sell my home here and move back up north before I would stay her to...

For 2 and a half years, Dr. Mims made me feel crazy. Like something was wrong inside of me. She reviewed a sleep study preformed by a different doctor and made her decision that nothing was wrong with me. She sent me to multiple doctors, specialists, therapist, told me it was all in my head and Iwas just massively depressed. I missed countless days of work and wasted an extraordinary amount of money, for no reason. A simple re-test (after over two years) as I requested multiple times, would have confirmed narcolepsy. Loved the building wasn't lovely big easy to find the department. The reception staff are excellent very polite quick efficient check in and out. Waiting room was nice clean. Bathroom was all clean but kinda far lol. The nurse was nice personable easy to talk to and very helpful. I forget your name but thank you very much for your help.
