I’m incredibly disappointed with the service I received from Brooke. I trusted her with my loc journey and paid over $800 for loc repairs and retwists that were never fully completed. I initially paid $500 for repairs, where she combined my locs with two-strand twists and claimed she would gradually crochet them at the root ā€œa little each timeā€ until they became one. I went along with it because I trusted her. I told her my hair was thinning, and I was losing weak locs, but instead of being concerned, she confidently told me, ā€œHave your locs been falling out since you’ve been coming to me?ā€ Four did fall out before my next visit, and the repairs were clearly not holding. To make things worse, I attended my appointment today only to be told she had ā€œsent me an emailā€ saying she was no longer doing loc repairs on my hair. I never received an email, call, or text, even though she typically calls or texts for everything else. This is entirely unprofessional. While I was trying to explain how my locs were falling out, she took not one, but two personal calls during my appointment. That alone speaks volumes about her professionalism. I paid good money for a service that was never fully delivered. It feels like she’s more interested in taking your money than actually caring for your hair. If you care about your locs and your money, be cautious. This was a disappointing, expensive lesson. Rely to your response: Who pays for incomplete services? I did. I trusted your words, expertise, and the fact that you were running a Black-owned business, which is precisely why I gave you a positive review after our first appointment. We discussed a plan to restore my hair’s health, and I believed in that vision. But if ā€œit’s not about the moneyā€ as you claim, where is the refund you said you would issue for the incomplete services and deposit? You say you’re professional, yet you regularly take personal calls, have full conversations, and even plan birthday parties while doing my hair. That’s not multitasking that’s unprofessional. And the long, defensive reply you posted only further shows the tone and class of how you choose to handle clients. Rather than taking accountability, you decided to deflect and insult. I expected respect and quality service for the money I spent. What I received was a hustle, not hair care.

Brooke is a very talented loctician. She has been doing my hair for years and I have no complaints. My hair has grown so much. Even when my medication took my hair out she was able to repair my locs with no problem. I would recommend her to anyone with locs. She will recommend styles and treatments for the hair type or sensitivity of your hair. She very friendly and will go out of her way to get you in if she has no availability on the books. Definitely recommend her for your locs!!

I have been looking for a loctician for a few weeks now! When I tell y’all that Brooke got me together!! I was looking for someone to care about my hair and me as a person. Not just someone to retwist my locs and send me on my way. She is very informative and attentive! I booked The Works! This was a detox/build up removal, shampoo, condition, retwist and style. She went so high above my expectations! I am definitely a forever client! Thanks so much Brooke

šŸ‘ŽšŸ¾I had a disappointing experience with Brooke's Loc Styles due to a lack of transparency and professionalism. There was a significant miscommunication about the services, leading to wasted time with no effort to address my needs.

Brooke's business practices were unacceptable, showing no consideration for my circumstances. Because of this, I cannot recommend Brooke's Loc Styles, as clear communication and professionalism are essential in any service business. (UPDATE)- If Negative is telling the truth about you and how you handle bussiness then ok! Black...
