US Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Charlotte

It was my first time purchasing food from this carryout establishment. The gentleman who took my order was pleasant and explained the menu options to me very clearly. The restaurant was small and didn't have much space. People were standing around waiting for their orders to be called out, so I went to sit in the car. They told me my order would be ready in 15 minutes, and that was pretty accurate.

The total amount for my order was very pricy ($45.43), but I didn't question it. I paid for it, and that was that. I ordered the chicken, lamb, and shrimp platter that came with a small side salad and rice. Once I went back to receive my order, the guy who took my order stated that they had overcharged me by mistake and refunded the additional money ($15.14) back to my card. That was very honorable and showed integrity on their part.

I did question the fact that since they are Muslims and Hallal, why would they be serving shrimp? I didn't think they'd do that, but I could be wrong. Lastly, I got home and opened the container, and everything smelled and looked good. I tasted it. It was good and seasoned just right. I will definitely go back again to try their fried fish and fried chicken as well. I suggest you...

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! They got my first order wrong and when I reordered they cancelled. I called to see why so that I can try to reorder again but the Managers response was “we cancelled because you keep complaining for no reason”. Maybe if they would have got my order correctly I wouldn’t have had to reorder. Initially when they got my order wrong, I called to ask what the mild wings had on them because I am pretty sure its not supposed to be buffalo sauce, which was what I got. The girl that answered said “not too spicy sauce”. I was okay Ill just get a refund and reorder. Then I realized that they cancelled the second order, so I call. I asked the young lady what happened and she wouldn’t answer and kept saying call Doordash. Confused, I asked why she couldn’t answer. She passed the phone to the manager and when I asked the same question he said “we cancelled cuz you complaining for no reason, its not personal”. Clearly it was to him because he couldnt do the correct order after messing up...

The food is always mouthwatering & simply delicious & flavorful. My kids always ask for it, even when it is out of the way since we don't reside in Charlotte. Love the menu variety with Mediterranean options and not just your basic fried chicken restaurant.

My family enjoys the wraps, philly cheesesteak, wings, fried chicken , cheeseburgers and love the rice platters with choice of lamb, chicken, & shrimp over rice (basically everything on the menu : ). Our meals are never complete without several desserts - family favorite is the chocolate cake, even though you can't go wrong with anything in the case. During our last trip earlier this week, we tried the in-house lemonade as well, regular & Strawberry flavor - paired perfectly with the platters and Philly cheese steaks. Did I mention the staff is always willing to customize the orders....very friendly staff and owners are usually there working with customers as well.
