Sea Hut — Restaurant in Charlotte

Sea huts foods amazing but the customer service is unfortunately includes disrespecting customers. There's a worker named Rose that works there she's the wife of the husband that owns the place. Everytime you interact with this older woman she has an nasty distasteful attitude. Rolling of eyes the tone of her voice she scares my children they are only 10 and 11 years old and I don't see how you can be so evil towards children making them cry. I love seahuts food but the customer service with one lady is unacceptable. I am so sorry but I cannot support a business with such unprofessionalism. I have tried many places to eat but no matter how tasty the food is I have no time nor energy to interact with a demon scaring my children and trying to intimidate every customer that's walks in there. How can someone be so miserable anyways I've seen how she acted on three seperate occasions and each time was malicious and unprofessional. She needs to find a different job that doesn't deal with people not everyone has the ability to communicate and deal with people in a professional and...

So me and 2ic were passing through. And we heard bout blackcharlotte food week. Amd the sea hut was one of the restaurants mentioned . So I decided to make a detour and head on over. It seemed like it could have been located near the hood. Not sure but that is always a good sign for good food. We went inside. It was neat and clean. Nothing fancy. But nice. I think the owner knew we were new or first timers and she jumped in to help. Gave a awesome break fown of the menu. Which helped out quite alot. We then made out order. And because of eating here. I will never ask for Arnold Palmers again. Only uptowns!!! And the uptown there were amazing. The food came out. And I was thoroughly impressed. 2ic was also and she is not easily pleased when it comes to food. But on top of the food the service was amazing. They people were very friendly. It felt like we were eating at our aunt and uncle house.. everything we had was good. I definitely recommend...

I have heard nothing but good reviews both online and from family/friends so I was excited to try it. My son and I stopped in one night to give it a try. We were so disappointed in the food and the price was outrageous. We ordered a catfish fillet plate and a combo seafood plate we planned to share. I asked about the portions on the seafood combo before I ordered it and was told we would have the same serving of each selection on the combo as would be if we ordered each item individually. It made sense that it would be a large plate because the price was double what a one item plate cost. However when the plate came it had 4 oysters, 4 shrimp and 4 Scollops..Our meal was $40 plus which was very overpriced. Needless to say we have never returned and have no plans to. The food was good but no better that anywhere else in town. Sadly...
