Furniture Palace — Local services in Charlotte

I was so excited to go to this furniture store because I followed them for years on social media and saw the “great deals” they offer only to get there and see the real. The store is huge and it looks like they have a lot of inventory but they really don’t. I went in there for a specific bedroom set that I saw them advertising a lot on their social media just for them to say they no longer sell it (flag 1) why advertise something you no longer sell, then I fell in love with another bedroom set that I was ready to pay cash money for no deposit, no finance, wanted to pay for it straight out with delivery and fees, I asked was the chest included the salesman said no I asked if I can pay for the bedroom set and he hold the chest until Friday when I will have the money in full to come get the chest, he said no he can’t hold anything mind you the bedroom set was not to be delivered until Thursday (flag 2). Then he said you can apply to see if you can finance it (flag 3) why would I finance a chest if I’m paying for the bedroom set in full when you can include it in the price for the bedroom set take the money for the bedroom set and got the remaining 300 for the chest before delivery? All in all if you don’t have the money for everything you want or don’t have the credit to finance your furniture don’t waste your time. I’ve been to other furniture stores and they were able to work with the customers this store is the total opposite and that is the reason I gave them a one star.
