CSW, Charlotte, NC provided the best customer service I has ever received in any industry. During my first visit I was approached within 30 seconds and asked if I needed help (if I was left alone for more than 1 minute, I was asked by several employees if I needed help with anything). Immediately Kaki started a live consult to facilitate my needs. During this consultation he generated several options and ran through them with me from start to finish covering the following: pricing, sound, install, benefits of different options, and fit. During this consultation he noted that my mid-size truck may need a custom box, so we ordered it-- everything else was already in-store. He was able to give me B2B pricing on the custom box and matched online prices for all other equipment. While waiting for the box to arrive, he told me a week in advance via text that he would be out of the shop when my box arrived and that he would be handing my job over to OB. Without missing a beat OB was all over it and notified me in advance that my box had arrived-- he called twice to ensure the message was received. During the installation there were minor friction points that required my approval and they notified me immediately and executed the action needed promptly and effectively-- without any additional cost. Due to these circumstances, I wasn't able to effectively plan my day accordingly and realized I had meetings for work while my installation was in progress and OB set me up in a backroom with a desk/ WiFi, so that I could attend my scheduled work events. About 2 years ago I had an aftermarket stereo, 4 door speakers, and a powered sub (amp built in) installed. I spent over $800 on parts and installation, and the guys at Car Stereo warehouse specifically helped my pick equipment that would fit together correctly. Everything was great until about a year ago when my head unit totally died. After bringing it to a shop where I now live, I was told that the sub had been incorrectly wired and ended up blowing out the amp on the head unit. This was pretty surprising as I don’t play anything very loud and primarily listen to podcasts in general anyway, rather than heavy thumping music that would be likely to damage a system. While I was pretty annoyed that I had to spend another $150 so quickly after paying Car Stereo Warehouse so much before. But whatever, life goes on.

Now, another year later, all 4 of my door speakers stopped playing audio. After taking my car in again, it turns out that the speaker wire installed originally was far too thin and the wire connections were not of very high quality. This cost me another $100 to fix. One small mistake is excusable, but $250 in repairs on top of the original $800 installation to fix mistakes that “professionals” made is not acceptable.

Any system that car stereo warehouse installs may sound great at first and for some time after. But beware of them cutting corners with poor wiring, etc. Save yourself some money in the long run and go somewhere that will do...

I had Gary do my install on my 2017 Infiniti Q-50. I just got the car and wanted all factory speakers removed and replaced with all competition after market highs, mids, batteries, and subs. Soon as I left the stereo shop after the install, I turned my music up and everything stopped playing immediately. I took it back just for them to sell me something else I didn’t need and still had the same issue. After spending over 2800 I shouldn’t have had one problem, but I had multiple. This occurred three different times and the problem still wasn’t fixed after these visits. In this process I moved from Charlotte where I went to Jacksonville, FL and had everything reinstalled from scratch for half the price. The technician showed me faulty wiring, bad placement of amps, overpricing, and last but not least all the fire hazards from the way things were wired. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I gave 5 stars to the guys that fixed everything that car stereo warehouse screwed up and claimed they couldn’t do. I usually don’t even write reviews but I refuse to let them do me like that and not let nobody know. Beware of the guys. They’re all about sales and not customer satisfaction.
