I never almost never write reviews, but this experience was terrible enough to warrant one. We came in for dinner. No one else was there when we arrived. It took most of our food a long time to come out, which was understandable because they seemed short staffed and we were a big group (13). Three of our orders were incorrect when they were first brought out. We realized that one of our orders was swapped with someone else’s. They kept assuring us that our order was being remade, but when we went to pay after waiting for probably 20+ minutes, we learned they had only remade the order for the other couple that was swapped with ours. We never even received two of the tacos we ordered. When we went to pay, we had to correct the cashier several times about what we were paying for because he kept trying to charge us for items we never received. The part of our order that we did receive (a cheese quesadilla with a salad and one bean/cheese pupusa) was mediocre at best. We had to ask twice for a water refill. There was no soap in the bathroom, only a bottle of hand sanitizer with a broken pump. The silverware they gave us was filthy. The two cooks were not wearing face masks, and the cashier/server wore his under his nose. The icing on the cake was when a GIANT COCKROACH crawled out of a hole on the ceiling directly above us and FLEW down onto the wall right next to us while we were eating. I’m not kidding. This was once my favorite mexican restaurants but unfortunately I will not be back nor would I recommend anyone else to eat here since food handling safety is not a priority or a concern. I Ordered food from this location on Friday night which consisted of Chicken Flautas and pupusas. I started eating in the car and I bit into something hard and turned on the light to find a metal shards possibly from a cleaning brush inside my fried flauta. I called immediately and the associate was so apologetic and told me to text him the pics that still had a piece of chicken hanging from the metal that he would forward to the manager/owner since he not in. It's been 24 hours and I even followed up today and still haven't recieved a call from the manager/owner. This is completely negligent and although I the employee offered to remake it I am not interested in that not after finding that in my food. I don't even care about a refund but what bothers me the most is the lack of concern from the manager/owner. I'm glad my kids weren't eating this or that I choked on it or got stabbed by it. So my Facebook friend made a post about this place and there $2.50 tacos so I wanted to go and try . I got 6 asada and 6 pollo street tacos At checkout my total was $43 for 12 tacos so I asked how much they are a piece? The lady says $3.25 so I asked why the website the in-store menu and the regular menu all show $2.50 she says all of that stuff is old and they are upgrading . So I said well there isn’t nothing that states that anywhere & it’s not my fault your stuff is old . You’re charging me a price u didn’t make me aware of . She calls the owner and owner states they can’t honor the price listed on all 3 items they give to order from 😳 Be careful with this place and ask them the price for what your ordering because you will not know what you are getting charged.
