My second time coming here, first time was okay, I asked for medium knotless braids like I have been getting since getting braids in 2018 so I know the routine 😕 I said “not too many braids and no big parts” first time I get that here my parts were big but the braids were really neat so I give it another try months later. This time I just went on Saturday 4/15 it was two people on my hair, one girl that started off the back row and another that came to finish the top/crown. Everyone knows when you get box braids it takes a few days for it to unstiff and fall beautifully but I knew in my heart that this was not the case with these set of braids and that I need them to do something before it’s too late. Two days later I asked her to fix them because the girl that did the bottom did HORRIBLE, uneven/big..parts, my natural hair still sticking out, I don’t think they trimmed the braid before they dipped..and to makes things worse I can’t understand what they are saying so I wondered why she randomly switched her out from doing my hair to work on another lady. I didn’t realize how bad the back looked until I tried to put my hair in a ponytail. So the owner I guess was really nice about it but this one lady in particular you could feel that she was upset she had to redo this, moving my head all rough and huffing and puffing…very rude cause how you mad at me for wanting my hair fixed correctly? Now older people will tell you anything just to make you feel good (including my mom) lol but the back of my head did not look good from my perspective being a 25yr old girl that does NOT play about her hair. I don’t think I will go back because I also don’t like how nothing is a set price. It went from $165-$200 but I been getting the same thing for 5 years. All I wanted was a simple feed-in high-bun. What I got was a disaster!

24hrs before I arrived I texted a photo of what I wanted. Upon arrival no one seemed to know what to do or how to begin. They kept asking me if I had the photo of the style, again, I texted the photo just the day before. A hairstyle that should have taken no longer than 4hrs took 8hrs to complete. I should have gone with my instinct and left, but it was my only day off. By the way, while I was there, another client came to have a simple job done and they couldn't seem to get that right either. Anyway, when the style was complete, it looked nothing like the style that I'd requested nor texted. The owner had the nerve to tell me that it was a $200 hair style. If I hadn't been so angry, I would have laughed in her delusional face. What I ended up with was some sort of mohawk on the top of my head. And if that wasn't enough, no less than 10 days later and my hair looked like it had been braided for a month. This morning, I lost an entire braid and it was an edge braid. I pray that my hair will grow back. I contacted the salon and got no reply until I threatened to post my reviews any and everywhere that I could. She asked me to come in so she could see my hair, even though I texted her several photos of the mess. Why would I return to a place that clearly has no idea how to braid modern styles? Had a 12:30 appointment so I get there at 12 o'clock. There was no one there to do my hair. 2 girls was already braiding someone else. 's here she tell me to wait. The girl had to make a run. She'll be right back then. She told me the bus broke down at about 1:30. Don't leave, I'll give you a discount. I was quoted that my hair would be 185, so the discount was $200, but you olny was charging me 185. That's if you bring your own hair. Nobody told me to bring here, so that's 2 things don't leave. She says it'll be 2 people doing your hair. You'll be done much faster. OK, set in a chair starting on my hair . It was only 1 person. And mind you. I didn't get into the chair until 4:30 from a 12:30 appointment. So I asked the braider. Where was the other braider? She doesn't know let her call the owner. Make a long story short. The girl who started my hair had already breathed 3 heads and she was tired. after putting 3 braids in my hair She couldn't go on because she couldn't bo my whole head by herself. So she took the 3 braids out and now I'm sitting at home on my bed. Eating a sandwich with my hair not done worse.
