Let's start off properly and indicate that I don't speak Spanish. The language barrier between the staff and I was almost non-existent because We were able to communicate through a combination of smiling and pointing. That being said, the staff was pleasant and kind. Now let's talk about the food. It just takes one word: delicious! I got in with my friend before the lunch rush and got the chicken burrito, which I know would highly recommend. Eating in a grocery store has its own ambiance and can't really be compared to a restaurant or a grocery store. I can tell you that the place was inviting. It was clean. This place has some of the best most authentic tacos in the Charlotte area. My wife and I have been going since we moved to Charlotte. We had been disappointed by most other places so far. There are other good Mexican restaurants in Charlotte but this one has been better consistently. We have had there asada, Al pastor, carnitas, chorizo, lengua, pollo, in tacos as well as their burritos and chiccarones. Not sure we have had better here.

My wife who grew up in El Paso says the atmosphere of this place reminders her so much of her childhood and the places she feels most at home. A truly authentic experience. We got some fresh chorizo to take home too!
