4*=I'm a fan! I was looking for a place near my job that I could visit during lunch. I came across this store and I decided to go. I was very impressed with the roomy layout and organization. A lady introduced herself to me and I told her I was looking for crystals. While she pointed me in the right direction, she informed me she was going to get her husband to assist me. The gentleman came out and I told him what I was looking for. He asked if I needed a guide and I told him I had a list. He pointed out each thing on my list and showed me the different varieties as well. He gave me a dish to place my items in and left me be. I was like a kid in a candy store. They have a nice selection. Tumbled (smooth), rough, statues and figurines. While waiting to be checked out, there was a gentleman assisting a customer who was purchasing fragrance oils. Their oils smell very different than what you may see someone on the street. I really liked them. They also had other Arabic décor and attire. While being rung up, the gentleman gave me his card. I had heard through the grapevine about Gem Avenue and wanted to visit the store for a while. It did not disappoint. I purchased 7 beautiful pieces during the annual sale they had recently. Not only were the pieces outstanding quality, but the prices were very reasonable, even before the sale discounts. The store is well organized with a fully stocked inventory. The owners greeted me upon arrival and were very kind. They also have a huge jewelry section that I didn't even get a chance to explore during this visit. They have price points for every type of customer, ranging from under 10.00 to 600.00 and up. Even the smallest of items are still excellent quality. I also liked that they had raw/natural specimens and not all polished pieces. I made an online order from them prior to visiting the store, as I wasn't sure I'd be able to make it up there for the sale. The online order was fantastic as well. Gem Avenue is an absolute game changer if you are in the market for crystals. They have the best of both worlds with both quality and quantity. Walking in, I felt very welcomed. My shopping experience was a bit unique. My Dad, who was an avid rock and crystal shopper and lover had unexpectedly passed away a month prior. I was there to find a crystal that represented his memory. I ended up getting a little upset and some anxiety. The owners, who were completely unaware of my situation, were understanding of my feelings and showed such compassion. I was given words of encouragement, education on the crystals, and even a bottle of water. All the while they respected my space and gave me all the time I needed to choose my crystals.
