The best Chinese food place that deliver my food. A++ on the food, I moved in Charlotte, NC from NYC Brooklyn, NY on Jan 1st and I called many Chinese place that is 3.0 miles away from me and none of them delivered so I lost hope and was about to give up until I found the Cottage Express menu in my mail box on March near the end of FEB and thought I'd try order from them to see if they would deliver and yep! I order my food and they deliver my food and it is always hot. One time they forgot my iced tea but they pay me back $2 refund for the iced tea they forgot, in NYC Chinese food place tend to go back and get it and bring it back to me but this one in NC is not wasting their time going back and bring back my iced tea to me, if they forgot they will refund me back missing piece. I had to let them know not to forget my iced tea next time and they bring my food along with the iced tea which they didn't forget. AWESOME...

Buyer Beware!!! If you don't check to make sure they gave you the right order they will blame it on the customer. You should NEVER go to a restaurant receive an order erroneously and then be blamed for the error by the company personnel, because they feel you should have checked the order before you walked out the door with it. It doesn't matter if they asked you what you ordered and still give you the wrong food. They will also attempt to refuse to refund your money for the aforementioned mistakes made by them. If you want a really good headache to compliment your dinner idea for the day or evening, look no further. Everyone's English is the worst of the worst possible, so good luck getting clarity when its time for resolution to those issues they created. They also have a great habit of ignoring online reviews of their own company also, so who knows how much these reviews even...

Ordered online for delivery. Their website does not tell you how long it will be for the delivery so I called the restaurant about 10 minutes later. Man who answered the phone said that the food was ready and it would be delivered in about 15 minutes. An hour later and still no food has been brought. I called the restaurant back and was told that it was still there and would be delivered in 10 minutes...... are you serious? 28 minutes later....... finally the guy shows up with the food and guess what? ICE COLD FOOD! I will never order from this restaurant again. This is the worst Chinese food that I have ever had. General Tso chicken that has absolutely no spice to it. Tastes more like orange chicken. Rice is hard as a rock and the vegetables are not even fully cooked! Horrible food, horrible delivery, horrible customer service and horrible restaurant! Save your money and go...
