I booked a session with Mercedes when I felt so tense in my body. I needed professional assistance! I stretched the days leading up to the session and the day of the session to prepare my body and make her work more accepted by my body. I heard the reviews of her methods and wanted to experience for myself! I walked into her beautiful space which is on a familiar street in Charlotte with easy parking. There are stairs leading up and her office was directly in front and she was there to meet me with a joyous smile and ready to work together. I filled out my form which was short and sweet with all the necessary information to share with her. She gave me space to fill it out and offered me refreshments. I felt welcomed and relaxed. Surrounded by rich hues of purple I felt the colors healing on a cosmic sense. We reviewed concerns and areas of focus before beginning the session. I felt seen and accepted when sharing my goals for the session. Mercedes began the session with reiki energy work and I received beautiful visions early on and the energy from her hands radiating. Mercedes had an intentional touch and listened to the body and spirit. She was attentive and aware. When I had tension or needed to reconnect to my breathing she noticed and softly offered guidance and reminders. Following the session I felt amazing and had a peaceful rest and recharge that evening. I felt bliss in my body and mind for a strong 10 days and then returned to daily stretching for self massage, but dedicated to a daily practice and will be better in the future about stretching even when I feel fine and not waiting until the tension is built up. I am so excited to work with Mercedes again and create a consistent care schedule to soothe and support my active lifestyle. Mercedes space is warm and welcoming as well as her presence. Her massages are amazing and I recently went in for an energetic massage, she recommended. It was the best energetic massage! I highly recommend, I had been feeling my energy shifting and really needed help with that. She is so sweet and let me pull a card before the massage, which also helped in moving forward and releasing what needed to be released/and what needed to be known. Mercedes is an absolute gem! I had no idea what I was stepping into but I came in with an open mind and left with a new found state of mental clarity and confidence! I’ve been in a funk with the amount of stress I was carrying and felt that all in my body. After our session, I had a new bout of motivation that I haven’t had in several months.
