The food here was AMAZING. We ended up getting a lot of small plates and sides, bit of soup, bit of salad. Everything was truly delicious. We had the soup dumplings, something Ive been dying to try, and they did not disappoint. Just be careful, they come out piping hot. Gotta go by pizza rules and wait a couple of minutes so you don't end up giving the roof of your mouth an impromptu dermapeel. The meat is perfectly seasoned and the broth inside is so delightful I could have had a full cup of it and been happy with that. We did the pork buns which were a perfect mixture of sweet, savory, soft, and crispy. The scallion pancakes were the best I've had in along time. Thin, flakey, and tasty. The chicken skewers were great too. I think they leave the skin on, which, lets face it, the skin is the best part of the chicken. Cruchy skin, tender thigh meat. Definitely indulge. The wonton soup was excellent. Another broth that you. Desperately want to replicate at home but can never get it that flavorful and light. The ginger salad and lo mein were great too. Had mocha boba milk tea and it added just the right amount of sweetness to balance out the savory, fatty flavors in the meal. As for the restaurant itself, the atmosphere is so chill and modern. I loved all the wall art and soft lighting (where's my overhead light hating people?). Good accessibility, too. One thing I really liked that I wish more restaurants did, was the self serve area with the to go containers and bags that ppl can use for leftovers. Just streamlines things a bit. Staff is super friendly and nice. Prices are very reasonable. You get a lot of food for the price, and the quality is excellent. Next time I come here, I'm definitely trying the ramen. If you are in the area, give this place a try. The only regret you'll have is the fact your stomach has limits and you can't have everything on the menu. Thanks for the...

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!
My wife and I went in here for the first time. I have been to a lot of Asian noodle restaurants here in the US and in Asia, and I can confidently say that this is the best noodle place in Charlotte.
Tofu Yaki Udon 10/10 This noodle dish is so flavorful but not overpowering. The thick noodles are cooked to perfection blended with the sauce, veg, and tofu. If you love stir fried noodles, this will not disappoint.
Yame Beef Noodle Soup 10/10 The broth is soooo good! So beefy! The beef is so tender. Melts in your mouth! Noodles are al dente and goes really well with the chives and bokchoy.
Shanghai Soup Dumplings (Xiao long bao) 9/10 FINALLY! Decent soup dumplings here in Charlotte!! The soup and meat is delicious! I gave it a 9 because the top of the dumpling was too soft to pick up with chopsticks which could break the wrap. Other than that, this is a MUST TRY!
Price is very reasonable for the value! It wasn't when we went in. Our food arrived in 15 mins after ordering.
Overall this place is our new FAVORITE! The place is so CLEAN! Staff is super friendly! The interior is beautiful, organized, fresh, spacious, and lively. This is in my NUMBER ONE spot as the best Asian noodle restaurant in Charlotte and one of the best Asian restaurants in Charlotte. They have a wide variety of bobas. We loved the Matcha latte milk tea.
We're looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu! GREAT JOB to the staff of...
Read moreBland attempt at Americanizing Asian food. If you like food that shouldn't be oily and sweet, yet is oily and sweet, vegetables with no texture, and tastes that are sacrilege to their namesake's. This is the place for you!
This restaurant had hands down the sweetest xiaolongbao I've ever tasted. No one's first reaction to warm soup should ever be wow there's a lot of sugar in this.
Jing Jing noodles sounds like a racist adaptation of zhajiangmian which is coincidentally exactly what this dish tastes like. Clearly this was supposed to be a zhajiangmian -adjacent dish, but they just replaced zhajiangmian's signature thinner, chewy noodles with thick, starchy udon noodles smothered in a disgustingly sweet and oily sauce. Zhajiangmian isn't even adventurous taste-wise, couldn't they have just stuck closer to the original?
This is the McDonald's of Chinese food, but like an early 2000s McDonald's from before McDonald's started their rebranding efforts. Also the decor screams please instagram me in that painfully boring and trite way of having a grass wall with a neon sign, gauche art, and weirdly homegoods-esque decor.
Such a shame Charlotte is so severely lacking in authentic Asian restaurants and this restaurant is here instead. I would say they're clearly catering to American tastes, but I don't think anyone enjoys...
