The biggest and best comic book store I have ever visited. Huge selection of the newest comics and will try to get you any new comic that you want on a pull list asap (of course usually get it if you give prior notice ahead of release and has been able to get a few even a week or two after the release date). Even bigger back issue comic area fully organized alphabetically, except for many dollar boxes (which is fun to try a different box every trip to see what surprises you can find in it, from an old she-hulk number 4 to something from just a couple years ago in an anime art style like feather). Got the supplies for comics and athletic cards/game cards too (comic boxes long and short, and many sizes of card boxes from deck size to multiple rows). Got the dice sets, single cards, toys, graded items, books, supplies, and best of all a fun friendly...

Cool little comic shop. Was greeted with a hello when I came in, but after that I was pretty much ignored. Prices are on the higher side but large selection of $1 comics. There are no bulk packages that I could see. There was a very light sprinkling of older bronze and silver age (10 cent to 60 cent) comics but mostly modern age.

Titles are very well organized, but some non-existent, like Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos, but this is likely due to the lack of older books.

Overall, it is a good shop, but looses a star for the lack of older comic selection and another star for the lack of customer engagement along with higher than average prices.

El Gato recommendation: worth a look if...

Went there for comics, they had a lot of new comics but sold out of a few. Of course if you live close by that can be remedied by either pre-ordering or talking to the store and they can order more. We were passing through town.

I loved that they had customers coming in to learn how to play strategy games and they would sit down with them and explain, answer questions and take time with them. Even if they didn't buy anything. Those kind of games are not my thing but I was just really impressed with the attention they were given and it looked like it would be a lot of fun.
