Hard to do a group lesson before a social dance. I counted nearly 40 people in lesson. Couldn't see. Couldn't hear.
Start skipping group lesson OR just teach basic step. The last lesson was Bronze/Silver. Lots of beginner/intermediates!!!! Teach to level of student or you only get frustration. Most of the women I danced with were beginner intermediate. Only a few Bronze and anyone above Bronze tends to get 'Silvery' i.e., a bit snobby or only dance w same person.
Hire a couple of dance hosts!!! I hate seeing eager beginner ladies dying to learn to dance. But no good male...
Read moreEven during Covid-19 they are open and staying safe. This is a wonderful, supportive, excellent dance studio. They are non-competitve, and have one dance recital a year. They have "In House" teams that also provide additional performance opportunities. I know of several young women who have been able to continue dance in a meaningful way while in college.
