Cheney market — Local services in Cheney

I questioned the need for another Desi-run convenience store in our little college town (3 now), but when they opened they did have very competitive prices-for-my-vices, etc. Anyhoooo, that certainly, and expectedly, changed after the first couple of months. They are nice fellas in there, and it's an obvious plus to be 24/7, but I know where to buy my products for a dollar+ cheaper in this town, and this joint sure ain't it. They'll need to address that, because Maverick is just down the road, and they are 24/7,...

It's a gas station convenience store without the gas station, so expect to pay a bit more than you should on most of the packaged products. Another issue is the quality - I only bought two items, and both had issues. The "soft" cookies were stale and very chewy, while the chocolate covered pretzels were all melted together and had a white film over them that happens when chocolate is exposed to rapid temperature changes. Pretty disappointed, but also kind of expected from a store that caters to convenience...

It's a nice enough store, very clean. It's got a lot to choose from - kinda like a little Temu convenience store. It's got you covered if you need a glass pipe, bucket hat, monster energy drink and a $200 bottle of kratom for sure. But the prices are WAYYYY to high and honestly the guys behind the counter can be hit or miss. I've dealt with a few that are cool but others not so much. Definitely don't ask questions!
