We have shopped here before and had a decent experience. Not this time though. We purchased a refrigerator recently and the entire experience was dismal. I was told it would be delivered on a certain Monday. When I called on that Monday to find out what time (no one had called me) I was told they were already booked and couldn't deliver it until Friday.
Friday came and the unit was delivered. The delivery people were less than professional. They left trash all over the place - some literally stuck to my hardwood floor; some of the protective materials still left on the door and handles of the refrigerator. They gave me basic instructions and told me that it would take 24 hours for the ice maker to work.
I went back in to Bloom Brothers on Saturday to express my concern about the delivery experience. They said they would look into it and offered to get a new door for the side where the protective materials were still adhered.
No ice all weekend...when I called Bloom Brother on Monday, I was told they would look into it. I NEVER HEARD ANOTHER WORD FROM BLOOM BROTHERS. They passed it on to an appliance repair shop (luckily I had experience with them and trusted their work). It took 3 trips from the appliance repair shop for the issue to be resolved. And I never heard anything from Bloom Brothers...still don't have a new door either.
Needless to say, the luster of getting a new appliance was certainly tainted by this experience. I try to "shop local" but won't be...

I live across the country and wanted to buy a new dishwasher for my family in Cleveland. I’ve had good luck in the cities I’ve lived (Wilmington, NC and Ithaca, NY) using local appliance companies, so I reached out to Bloom Brothers Supply. I had the model of my sister’s old dishwasher, looked at new models, and found the brand and features that I thought she’d like. Little did I know when I emailed Bloom Brothers the question, “will this new one fit?” they would interpret it as “can we cram it in there.” Five visits from the installer and they’re still waiting on a part (though the dishwasher is usable).
I would have loved it if, when answering my original question, Bloom Brothers had said, “we can make the one you picked work, but it’s shorter than the unit you’re replacing it with — why don’t you try this other model instead.” But they chose not to offer any advice. Nor did they ever contact me when they went to install it to explain the issue. But these months later, when I finally diagnosed what had happened, they of course could not exchange the now-used model for one the right size.
I really regret shopping at Bloom Brothers for this, and hope Clevelanders have...
Read moreOur refrigerator after 23 years finally decided to quit what is was supposed to do. You know cold and frozen. My daughter and myself went refrigerator shopping. She wanted to head to the big box stores.... but I had heard from friends about Bloom Brothers. Now I had not be in the store since when I went with my father in the 1960s. What a wonderful experience. Still the very personal service, no high sale push. Just friendly and above excellent in customer service. Brandon , our salesman explained the pros and cons and found us just what we wanted. We were sad when he said that delivery would be about two weeks but whatever. We really liked the product. SURPRISE call from Brandon two days later Got your refrigerator want it Friday? The next day! Of course I said yes and delivery time from10am to noon. The delivery guys showed up at 10am. Had to remove the door to my house to get it in the house. Off and back on without problem. Took my old refrigerator. They set up and connected the new refrigerator without a problem. Sorry I did not get their names but they were very good at their job. They did the entire set up and explained the refrigerator to me. WE WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Bloom Brothers to any and...
