Valley Villa Custard — Restaurant in Chester Township

I'm an avid ice cream / custard enthusiast., i cant help it, i generally try to stop by all stand alone place that sells it at least once, i don't make special trips or anything , i just stop by when i'm in the area Today i was here, let me tell you this is the biggest disappointment i had in long time. I ordered their large soft serve twist in waffle cone, soft serve was great, no complaints there, its the size of their large serving and waffle cone that got me, i even asked girl if that was large and she said yes and she mentioned that its all inside the cone. Inside meaning it had roughly 1/2 inch swirl sticking up above waffle cone, i'm not kidding. I wish i took a picture of it but i didn't. Also their waffle cone, well its just Joy #5276, thats actual brand and sku and its listed as small on manufacturers website. So im just curious if i had ordered small in waffle cone, where they would of put it for me. Anyways, this place is a joke, don't waste your time here. They only getting foot traffic because they on 322, otherwise this place would of folded long ago. If you want to to find out what large soft serve should look like, drive up a little bit north to King Kone in Chardon. Avoid Valley Villa Custard like the plague....

Cute little ice cream stand that we have been going to for years. It is now under new management and it is even better. Review said the Serving was too small, but I found it perfect and happy not to be stuffed after one that’s larger. It's ok. I ordered butter pecan, but there were no pecans in my custard. I guess it's just a flavoring they add in, which didn't taste anything like butter pecan, and it made the ice cream very soupy. Pretty overpriced for what may as well have been vanilla soft serve.
