This is listed as a “convenience store.” It is far more than that. It is a small, family-run grocery store. For it’s size, the selection is remarkable. They have added a variety of organic foods, specialty foods (especially locally-produced goods) and produce. They have extensive beer and wine selection. Their deli sandwiches are high quality and loaded with ingredients. Their butcher shop is the go-to shop for the area - especially their marinated steak tips and country slab bacon. It's the "expert butcher, knowledgeable wine sales, fantastic deli offerings, solid village grocer, charming ambiance & staff" class.
Lisai's was my go-to market for the three years in idyllic Chester. There was no reason to buy meats elsewhere, and the produce was fantastic and conveniently accessible. Back in the day, this also served as the local video-rental store!
