World of Birds — Local services in Chester

I'm from PA and searched for just the right place, and just the right bird for our family. I am very impressed with this store. My baby cockatiel hatched 12/23/17 and I finally got to bring him home a few days ago. I loved the store, very clean, great friendly and knowledgeable staff. My cockatiel is extremely healthy and very cuddly and loveable. Hes the most friendly cockatiel I've ever met! The last cockatiel I had took a while to get comfortable with me. This new little guy loves us all like we've been friends forever. I highly recommend getting your birds from here. They take excellent care of the babies and I can tell by the way my new baby acts that they take extra care in hand taming their babies. He loves us already, so it's clear to me the staff gave him lots of love and attention. Wonderful store and I'll never go anywhere else for a new bird! I agree the prices were slightly higher then other breeders or stores, but by very little. It was 100% worth the extra few bucks for this sweet baby. Over and beyond what you can imagine this store takes pride in EVERY bird they raise for purchase. My first purchase was a Bebe which disposition is beyond calm loves everyone and just a love she makes my family happy. she has learned a lot of words easy to train. Not even owning her for more then 3 months I'm amazed. I just purchase a jenday and will be another nice addition to our family and quiet the same as the be be can't wait for her to come home she is still to young and needs two times a day feedings. But I really wanted to talk about the store the owner to the help Marissa and owners wife outstanding they take the time with you. What a lovely place if you are a bird lover. This is truely bird heaven. You can play with the birds as long as you want just all around GREAT place. I would highly recommend this store the people in it to my friend. Definately. I was quite let down with this store, I had come here hoping to interact with some birds that I personally couldn't pay for or keep in my house. When I came I was happy to see birds in an open playpen, but you couldn't interact with them at all. I went straight to the cockatiels since I have one of my own at home, and I noticed that 3-5 cockatiel babies were crammed in one single small cell like cage, I understand they will not be there for long but they seemed uncomfortable and distressed. overall the birds weren't as socialized as they could have been, and the birds deserved bigger better cages if they are advertising ones for the same bird but larger then what they are keeping them in. One last thing is, the birds were expensive, they are hand fed and born in state but in the store seemed as if they were treated as items not living birds. I've been to many other stores and My baby cockatiel who was hand fed and born in the very store I got her from was far cheaper than the...
