This is the food lion we do frequent as we pass the other food lion on 151 and I-75 to get here. We like food lion but this food lion has tolerable customer service. The food lion on hwy 151 at I-75 is rude. Similar to my reviews of harbor frieght and comcast (a bit harsh but is my opinion). I don't expect someone to hold my hand while I shop but there is no need to treat a customer that is needing to give them money (to much in my opinion) for a necessity of life, food. I don't understand why when you are putting your intended purchase on the self moving belt so the attendant can scan the product and put it in the bag acts slighted that I chose thier line to check out. If they are that dissatisfied with thier employment, find something else to do foe employment. I purchase 2 liter soda drinks quite often, usually in quantities of 10. The attendants only want one to scan and give it back, what happened to the bagging part? I don't say anything anymore and carry reusable bags with me to transport the drinks up my stairs at home. The reason: I asked for some bags to put the bottles in and was given 2. And even dbl bagged 2 bottles, the bags still broke.....solved my problem with the bags but doesn't detract from the real problem,...
Read moreOn October 16th I thought I was overcharged $40 due to a cash register error. I went back into the store after I had brought it to their attention. I went back to the original receipt that I had after one of the guys from the home office explained that I had bought a money order that night. I still can't understand why the money order wound up on the same receipt since they sell them at the Customer Service desk separately but it showed on my bank statement some time before my purchases. I apologize for the mixup and I have apologized to Montana, the shift/store manager as well as the people at the main office for mistake I made. They were very nice to give me a $10 ecard for the actual deduction that was done on my debit card. That was indeed their mistake and I truly appreciate that. Read moreEvery time I go to this store, I have a weird interaction with random customers. Example, a few weeks ago I went to the store and there was a customer in a mask, clearly was still on high covid alert. If she could have climbed on top of the freezers to avoid me she would have lol I was walking normally down the isle and she basically hugged the doors on the freezer section to get as far away from me as possible. It was honestly one of the weirdest grocery store moments that I believe I have ever had. If it was a one time thing, I wouldn't think much of it, but I promise you, every time I visit this store it's a new weird thing with random customers and so far they have all been older people (55-70 age range).
