I took my family to this restaurant today. There were 7 of us and 2 of us ordered the all you can eat catfish and the rest of us ordered the catfish plates which comes with 2 huge pieces so I ate one piece, my daughter ate one piece, my mom ate one piece and my husband ate one piece of the the regular plates so that left 4 pieces and a lot of sides leftover for us to take home. In the meantime the 2 people that had all you can eat ordered a refill which is 2 pieces per refill. The refills took so long that by the time they got to the table we were ready to leave so I ask the waitress for a to go box for the food. She said yes, of course but she never came back so I got up to pay the bill and ask the lady at the register for a box. She once again said yes and walked off.. I paid the $125.00 bill and she came back and turned the screen around and said do you want to put a tip on your card and I said sure and added another $10.00. She walked toward the kitchen and I thoughts she was going to get the box but I heard her tell the guy that “ she is asking for a box” at this point the entire staff was staring at me and the guy came over and said your not getting a box because you had the all you can eat and I said yes I understand but I also had 4 regular plates and I have leftovers and he said your not getting a box. I was so embarrassed in front of my entire family and my elderly mom loves this place. I was horrified so I said ok thank you and everyone in the front was watching me and my family leave. This was unacceptable and I spent a good chunk of money and they said I couldn’t take any food with me.There is nothing posted anywhere in the restaurant or on the menus that says you can’t have a to go box. I feel like they took my money and my tip and then treated me like I was doing something wrong. I hope they read this and know that if this was their policy they could have come to my table and politely told me and not embarrassed me in the front acting like I was committing some kind of crime. I have never been treated this way in a place before . I will never go back but I hope they never treat a family like this again. Yes being in the restaurant business in the past I normally would check my order!
Understanding that 80% of the staff is high school kids! That could care less about the customers order being correct!
They are more concerned with What’s on TikTok, Snapchat or Facebook than about the actual person who is paying their salaries!
But to have the Mgr tell me that it’s my fault that my order was incorrect!!
Because my wife (after working a 14 hour day on her job) didn’t see that my Spaghetti with Meatballs were missing the dang meatballs!! Is ridiculous!!
Now what my Full Time job will be 1st find another place to eat and let everyone on my social media footprint what kind of service to expect from this establishment!
This was not the first time by any means that our order was screwed up!! But it will certainly be the last time!
So after this Scathing review!
I do want to say that the staff has ALWAYS Very Courteous and Friendly! And I admire the fact that they are willing to work!!!
I am really just upset at the Managers attitude towards the issue!!
I will say that as an eat in customer, I’ve never had a bad experience!!!

We came to the drive thru 10 minutes before they closed with 3 other cars in the line and tried to order. They said they had already shut down the fryer so we couldn’t order anything fried which we quickly changed our order and placed it. We paid and then waited 20 minutes which isn’t out of the ordinary. They then brought us the wrong food and we said no we ordered something else. We were offered a refund which we said that would make this better and she left to get the refund. She didn’t even refund us the full amount and then refused us the food. I said I thought you were trying to make it right that you messed up our order. We asked why they couldn’t fix the order (which we understand) but can’t even refund us the full amount. If you can’t take an order 10 minutes before you close just tell us before we order not make us sit there to get absolutely nothing and have to go somewhere else to now get dinner.
