Whenever I have a need for home improvement items, I ALWAYS check the Re Store first. I've saved BIG money on items that were almost new - in some cases nearly 90%!
Granted, there's also a lot of items which are not in the greatest of shape, but I think you'll be amazed at some of the really GOOD items you'll find there too. It's definitely worth taking the time to stop by and see what they have before shelling out more than you have to at one of the "big-name" home improvement stores.
Just keep in mind that nearly all items are USED, and all sales are final - so make sure you've selected the right size and color item, because all sales are final, with no warranty (unless one is express or implied), and there are no refunds or exchanges!

They used to have the place packed full but with everything shut down the last year it looks like the donations have also slowed down. So my first recommendation is you check here for house repair supplies first because the money goes a long way to help people with housing. Second I want to say if you have house supplies even used good stuff please donate to Habitat for Humanity you'll be doing a great thing. I really like just looking through the stuff there you never know what you'll find. I even saw a really nice stereo system there once. I should have bought it. Still bummed...
Read moreNearly every time I have gone into the Habitat ReStore I have left buying something at an amazing deal. In addition to the building materials that others have commented on (like tubs, sinks, cabinets, windows, lumber, etc.) they get furniture pieces that have been donated, so you benefit from their excellent deals. I have gotten bookcases, mirrors, chairs, and little things like house numbers and other miscellany. They have desks and bedsteads and appliances, too. It's never the same store twice. It is fun just to meander through. It is also a favorite place to donate household items and leftover, useabe, building materials. It all goes to a great cause--helping those in...
